La Mision de Mita is located in a Mexican pueblo. The complex is considered a quiet one, but you may hear the sounds of chachalacas and other birds, dogs, crickets and geckos chirping, kids playing, people singing and occasional neighborhood fiestas, possible construction and/or vendors with speakers selling various goods. All of these authentic traits are what make the town special and what keeps visitors returning year after year.
