koolkondo The Compound: 4 houses with private pool

We rented “The Compound” for our huge family vacation! It was absolutely perfect in all ways! The location was spectacular, the main house and the three bungalows had everything we could’ve ever needed! The beds were all very comfortable! We were thankful for the air conditioning at night. All the outdoor chairs, umbrellas, carts, boogie boards, etc were so greatly appreciated! The pool was a huge hit with the kiddos! Corey was easy and quick to communicate with! I couldn’t say one negative thing about this place! It was simply AMAZING!

Amazing Family Vacation

We are Kauai residents who had been seeking a space to host our annual party for our restaurant staff. We were just over the moon to find this place and learn that they would accept the size of our party.

We rented out the entire complex and we could not be happier. The lawn is large and grassy, with plenty of shade and plenty of nice outdoor string lights, perfect for grilling and eating outside under the open air.

There was everything we needed. The houses are VERY well stocked with all of the cooking equipment you could possibly need... everything from strainers, blenders, cookie sheets, silverware sets, pots, pans, you name it.

The location is unbeatable, just a block from a great swimming beach with a lifeguard tower.

We can't wait to come back next year. Mahalo!

Employee Appreciation Party

What fun we had as we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family at this wonderful place in paradise. The pool, the houses, the beach supplies, the bikes, snorkling gear, perfect beaches.... everything we needed for an unforgetable week of Hawaiian joy. We will never forget our funfilled advernture. Thank you koolkondo for making our dreams come true. We hope we can come again soon.

Pure Fun

We rented the compound for our daughter's wedding. The housing arrangements worked so well for our group. The couple, along four other couples, stayed in the Ohana House and then three families stayed in each of the three smaller cottages. We hosted a pool party after the wedding at the private pool which was so much fun!
The houses are well stocked and there are so many additional items such as snorkel gear, beach chairs, body boards, bicycles, etc. that everyone used all week.
I can't say enough about how nice the host, Corey, is. He was so helpful and always went above and beyond both in the planning stage as well as during our stay. We had a television stop working and he had a replacement in by the next day. It was really fabulous working with him!

Wedding Group Stay

This was the most awesome place for our family reunion of 21 people. Everyone loved everything about the place. The kitchens were fully stocked, we enjoyed all the different beach supplies and games provided. I loved the enclosed yard so my three young grandchildren could play safely. The unexpected bonuses were the mango tree in the back and the outdoor shower. They were a big hit with our group. We’ve stayed in many different places on Kauai but this was the closest we’ve been to the beach. Even our two great grandmas in their eighties were able to walk to Poipu Beach. Thank you Corey for being so attentive to every query and providing service quickly. We absolutely loved everything about the Compound. It allowed us to have the best family reunion ever!! Mahalo!!
