koolkondo 2301 Makahuena Oceanfront Condo

Right to the chase! PROs: Incredible ocean-view, safe/convenient location, very clean, amenities plus, portable AC in each room, full-size Washer & Dryer, perfect for two couples (like us), and #1 property mgr (Corey) who provided videos, timely text replies, and accessibility 24/7. CONs: Main floor (living room & kitchen) was always HOT until the sun went down, no cool ocean breeze (may be a seasonal thing) because it existed on the back side of the resort (blocked by adjacent buildings), second-floor unit so 7 steps down and 24 steps up to the front door (no elevator) + another 14 steps to the upstairs bedrooms, no light on the deck, and a drive to an accessible beach (less than 1 mile).

Portable AC in both bedrooms!

We enjoyed our stay here tremendously. The condo is well located, has a gorgeous view (especially at sunset), is clean and has everything you might need - including beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler, etc. In addition, the owners are very kind and responsive.

We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Fantastic!!

My family of 4 had an amazing time on Kauai staying at this location! It is close to great beaches and restaurants. The kids loved the pool. The place was clean and comfortable. The host thought of everything! The bedroom air conditioners were a huge plus! We definitely recommend this place!

Fabulous Getaway Condo

Wonderful “home base” for our Kauai vacation! 5 minutes or less to shops and restaurants. Two beaches within walking distance. Clean and uncrowded pool for the housing community. Easy access to the southern part of the island, and not much more driving to get to the northern coast. The home was beautifully furnished with attention to detail for added convenience and atmosphere. Would definitely come back again in the future!
