Hartcliffe Retreat Relaxing Holiday Cottage

A fantastic property in a beautiful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hartcliffe Retreat - very spacious and comfortable, well-equipped and clean. The welcome pack and Easter treats were so thoughtful, and Lynne was so welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places of interest. We heartily recommend this property - you will not be disappointed. We have already booked a return visit. Thank you so much - 10/10! 

Superb!

The house was as described - lovely and airy and very comfortable. Lynne went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, even down to advice about booking taxis and thoughtfully providing  an extra hairdryer as she knew we were going to a wedding.
The area is brilliant. So much walking to do! We could happily have stayed a couple of weeks.

We had a very comfortable stay at Hartcliffe Retreat in August 2020. Lynne and her husband Richard were very welcoming, helpful and keen to make our stay a success. The house is spread over three floors and has everything for a family. The kitchen is big and has all the equipment you need, which is rare in a holiday rental. There were 8 of us staying in the house and it still felt big with all of us in it. My only regret was that the bed downstairs was very soft, but that is subjective.  We enjoyed visiting the surrounding areas, there are some great views  and walks to be had  not far off and on site the childen loved watching the chickens pottering around the field by the house.  The garden at the front of the house is lovely for the children to play in and the parking was big enough for 2 cars. Lynne and Richard have adapted to the current sanitary situation, such as the availability of well-stocked soap dispensers  and clear written information in the welcome pack. We had a lovely stay, thank you Lynne and Richard!
