Rocky Haven: Tranquil Lakeside Cottage Near Acadia

Perfect for families wanting privacy. Great location with beautiful lake view and access. Cabin definitely exceeds expectations.

Beautiful Peaceful Cabin

I stayed at this Air BnB with my wife, parents, sister and her boyfriend. The cabin was spacious and comfortably housed all 6 of us! Mark graciously called me once we arrived to ensure we knew how to access all of the amenities (kayaks, canoes, water gear, bonfire, where to park etc.) Sadly, during the week we stayed we could only use the bonfire once due to weather and none of went out on the water since we all had made plans for the whole week! This cabin was absolutely gorgeous and about 45 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia which is where we spent most of our time. We brought our own towels for the week(force of habit) but each bathroom was fully stocked with towels and other toiletries for the week. The bedrooms had extra blankets as well, but in the middle of July we certainly did not need them! My wife, sister and boyfriend found ourselves spending a lot of time on the screened in back porch late into the night, laughing and carrying on while my parents slept. I must say, the porch is quite sound proof!!

All in all, I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone wishing to visit Maine. It is beautifully maintained and kept immaculate for guests! I have found myself staying in places that are quite gross, and this cabin is the complete opposite!

Thank you Mark and Laurie Fowler!
