Plein Sud is situated in a residential area overlooking the town and the surrounding mountains, 3 mins drive from town. It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the centre of town and 20-25 minutes to walk back up. During the winter season there is a free local bus which stops 50m down the road every 40 min from 8am to 7pm (with a break 12.00 - 14.00) and takes 10 minutes to get to the Pleney slopes. The service operates from approx 17th Dec to 10th April. It's absolutely worth staying uphill a bit for the amazing views! The parking place is number 2. There is no garage or bike locker with this property. For those with bikes you can store them on the balcony (space for 2 bikes), if you are careful taking them through the apartment.
IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT / CLEANING. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for summer mountain biking groups and at our discretion. In winter (10 Dec - 21 April) the end of stay is included in the rate. For all the rest of the year, when rates are very much lower we charge a cleaning fee of 50 Eur payable on arrival. This simply covers the wages of the cleaning team.

Plein Sud 7 -Super mountain panorama from a cute flat for 4!

My wife and I enjoyed just under 2 weeks of mountain biking in Morzine with this little apartment as home for the period. The apartment provides everything you need, the washing machine is a big bonus as are all the kitchen gadgets (raclette on the balcony with a bottle of red was tres bon!). No complaints from us, a great place to stay.

A great little apartment

My 3 friends and I stayed in this lovely apartment, only a short distance walk downhill to the centre of Morzine. The location of the property is perfect for adventurous individuals who spend the majority of the day up the mountain ! The host enabled us to enter the property earlier than planned which was amazing as we had been up for an early flight so ideal to drop the bags off, we also had a reasonable time to check out. It was lovely and clean with great communication.
We would definitely stay here again !
