We were only in the area for 3 days to attend a wedding nearby but had a great stay at the Gegan.  The cottage is in a perfect location just minutes from the beach and the wonderful walks around the coastline.  The cottage was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped.  Would have loved to stay longer but we look forward to returning.

Wonderful cottage

A welcoming house in an ideal location. The house is spotless feels very spacious and is toasty warm. The owners have thought of everything you need and more. A two minute walk to the beach which means you can wander down without having to drive. Coast walks take you to other beaches or to St Abbs for coffee .We have stayed in lots of holiday homes in the last few years and this one is stand out.

Long weekend with Jess the dog.

We have just returned from a fabulous short break at the Gegan which we had booked to celebrate my mother in law’s 80th. The house is simply but tastefully and comfortably furnished and very well-equipped. We loved the sea views from almost every room, the short walk to the beach and the easy access to the coast path. All in all it was a perfect place for a family celebration for all ages. Thank you. We really hope to be back with other family members!

Beautiful seaside retreat

We stayed 4 nights at the Gegan over Easter. The house is in a great location (minutes walk from the beach) clean and comfortable. Helene was very responsive. Would definitely return.

Great cottage, lovely location

A perfect place to start the year! Great location, warm and cosy, comfortable beds and a lovely little welcome hamper. The kitchen has everything you need. Lots of games and stuff you might need for the beach. We loved being able to see and hear the sea from the house. Such a beautiful place! Very tempted to go back in summer to make use of the fire pit and the garden. 
Excellent communication- easy to find and access. 
A really fantastic place. Highly recommend. Thank you for an amazing stay!
