Set a short walk to the beach is my two-bedroom self-contained chalet at California Sands Holiday Park. Guests have free use of the heated in-door pool.
You'll find a mini-supermarket, Fish & Chip shop, bars, evening entertainment including live performances, bingo, an amusement arcade, mini-golf, and more.
Free swimming, WiFi, bed linen, towels, and Taylor of London toiletries are provided.
The chalet is within a 5 minute walk to the beach, and is set on a holiday park with an in-door swimming pool* (free to my guests), crazy golf, amusements arcade cafe, fish & chip shop, supermarket, bars (with live entertainment)
The chalet is well equipped and will be having a refurbish in early 2025. There is Wifi and Free-Sat TV, a patio area that is perfect for an evening drink as the sun sets directly in front of you. I provide free Taylor of London toiletries (shampoo, body wash and hand wash), bed linen and towels are provided. 
Guests are able to use my fob to enjoy free swimming pool entry once per day for up to 4 guests, they will also receive 10% discount on food and drink at the Oasis Cafe and 20% discount on all activities relating to the pool. PLEASE NOTE: if the fob is lost, a replacement fee of £15 will be charged.
* Swimming pool is open all year round
Accessed via the main California Sands Holiday Park entrance, you’ll follow signs for chalet 292, which has a large car park for you to park free of charge. 
When you enter California Sands Holiday Park, ignore the first left (which leads to a small car park) but turn left when your approach the Oasis Club House and the road splits. Then take the next left, and you’ll see a large car park, and you’ll see the chalet directly in front of you. It’s the white chapel, next door to the grey chalet.
I’m available over the phone most of the time, but I don’t live locally, however I am in Scratby most weekends at my second home (which is 5 minutes from this property)
The chalet is within a 5 minute walk to the beach, and is set on a holiday park which boasts an in-door swimming pool*, crazy golf*, amusements arcade* cafe*, fish & chip shop*, supermarket*, bars* (with live entertainment).
It’s also a short drive to Horsey, where you can usually see the famous grey seals, the last count was over 3,000 seals, and over 2,000 pups. Or head to the Pleasure Beach at Great Yarmouth, all within a short drive (15 minutes).
There’s loads to do locally, including Yarmouth Stadium (for banger racing and dog track), horse racing and golf can be founds at the racecourse at Great Yarmouth and the Broads National Park also a short drive away. 
The most stunning dog friendly California Beach is just a short 5 minute walk away, where you can stroll for miles and miles (I’ve walked for 5+ miles along the beach and it never seems to end). When the sun is shining, and your toes are brushing the soft golden sands, you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the Caribbean.
There are some bus links to nearby towns and villages, including the open top clipper bus to Great Yarmouth.

Scratby Chalet Minutes from Beach & Free Swimming

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful part of Norfolk. The accommodation was clean, smart and cosy. The California Tavern, 5 minutes walk away does great Sunday lunch too!
Will definitely be back.

Value for money

Such a lovely little place and exactly what we were hoping for. It instantly felt like a home from home, which made it really easy to switch off and relax. Colin was brilliant throughout and made everything really straightforward. We’ll definitely be booking again with Norfolk Seaside Escapes.

Miss

We stayed here for the first time and really enjoyed it! Chalet perfect for us-light, bright and incredibly clean. Our host Colin couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. The dog loved her beach walks, which were pretty much on the doorstep, and we loved our swimming in the pool. Would definitely recommend - we’ve already booked for next year!

Great chalet, great location

What a beautiful chalet - it was modern, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Colin was a fantastic host who provided loads of information about the area. The site is in a great location, with only a short walk down to the beach. It also has multiple activities on site: swimming, gym, arcades and bingo just to name a few. Would highly recommend staying here!
