Private Cabin Retreat with Sauna & Hot Tub

We had an amazing stay at Oakmont Galena while back home visiting family! The location is perfect — peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet still convenient for exploring Galena’s historic main street, shops, and restaurants.

The house itself is spacious, well-maintained, and great for both relaxation and group gatherings. We loved the multiple gathering spaces — the large living area with comfortable seating was ideal for a night in, and the outdoor patio was fantastic for morning breakfast & coffee.

We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend.

Oakmont - Galena Territories

Our group had an amazing stay at Oakmont! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, with incredible views overlooking the Galena Territory that made it the perfect place to relax. It was spotless when we arrived and we had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend.

The host was very responsive, helpful, and made the entire experience wonderful. We also loved that the cabin felt peaceful and secluded while still being just a short drive from downtown Galena, making it easy to explore the shops, restaurants, and everything the area has to offer.

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with stunning scenery, a beautiful cabin, and an excellent host, I can’t recommend Oakmont enough. We would absolutely stay here again!
