From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much thought and care Tami put into making this place special. There are so many personal touches and little details throughout, that made us feel welcomed and cared for, such as complimentary coffee and tea, cooking spices and oils, a water pitcher with purifier, bathrobes, toothpaste, earplugs, sleep masks, you name it!
The king-size bed was super comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. The kitchen was fully stocked and had every tool we needed to cook, and even the bathroom had everything we could have asked for. You really don’t have to worry about bringing much with you because Tami has thought of just about everything.
We especially loved the atmosphere and location. It felt like we were tucked away in the woods, surrounded by peace and nature, but we were only about 10 minutes from restaurants and a Wal-Mart!
The expansive deck and hammock quickly became our favorite morning spots to sip coffee, and spending time floating in the stock tank pool during the afternoon was so relaxing. We even appreciated the little detail of having separate pool towels!
We were celebrating a birthday during our stay and had a small get-together, and Tami was incredibly responsive and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. It made the whole experience feel so easy and special.
We visited during the hot summer months and can't wait to return for a cozy winter stay!
I guarantee you'd be hard pressed to find this kind of hospitality anywhere else.

The Best Hidden Gem In the Area

Hello, we stayed here while our family did their events at the lazy E Arena. It worked out perfect for us. The place was so nice and clean. The owners were very helpful. Would come back and stay here again if we are in the area.

Thepaintedcabin.com

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. The Painted Cabin exceeded every expectation we had. Everywhere you looked, every detail had been thoughtfully considered. From plastic bags and sunscreen to the umbrella over the pool for my little fair-skinned redheaded littles… nothing was overlooked. Hammocks, a fire pit, extra lawn chairs — the list just keeps going.

The communication before and during our stay was incredible too. We weren’t treated like “guests” it honestly felt like we were extended family coming for a visit. That warmth and care came through in every interaction and made the entire experience even more special.

The cabin itself was incredibly clean, warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. Whoever created the layout was a genius because every space flowed perfectly for relaxing, gathering, and making memories. And whoever thought through all the little touches must truly be the Queen of Hospitality.

I travel a lot, and I can honestly say I have NEVER experienced this level of intentional care and hospitality before. It wasn’t just a place to stay… it was an experience.

When you see it… you’ll get it.

The Gold Standard of Hospitality

We spent a couple days at the cabin with my brother that came down from New York. The cabin has lots of space and was very comfortable. If you are 6 foot or taller you'd better watch your head. Im 5 11 so i fit me well. The evenings were nice  talking and swinging while in the hammocks. The host was very responsive and offered good suggestions for nice BBQ. We were not far from the city so we drove downtown for a comedy show.  There is a peg board in the cabin where you drop a pin. People from all over the US and Canada stayed and had a great time. I would go back again.

Had fun at the painted cabin

Exactly as listed with thoughtful touches throughout. Definitely recommend.
