Cabin au Nord

If you're looking for a place to get away, breathe deeper, and just be, this is it! I cannot get enough of the stunning huge windows, waking up to that view made me feel like I was right in the trees. I loved opening the sliding doors in the living room to enjoy the fresh breeze and views of the lake in the distance. The bed and sheets felt SO luxurious! The gorgeous decor gave my brain a place to be calm. The rain shower head with the smooth concrete floor and huge fluffy towels felt like a spa, I could've stayed in there all night! Even little touches like using the kettle to warm up water for my french press coffee was helpful at helping me slow down in every moment. The layout is truly perfect. It was so nice that they already had a pack and play there, one less thing I had to bring with! Morning walks on the driveway were so peaceful. Definitely check out MN Trader's coffee in town while you’re there! I already am looking forward to my next visit to Cabin Au Nord!

Peaceful escape

As a couple with four young children, we try to spend one weekend away for just the two of us, each year. This year we decided to try somewhere new, and we were excited when we found Cabin Au Nord. I had several questions before our trip, and Patricia was quick to reply every time. She was very accommodating, and the cabin had everything we needed. It is so beautiful, simple, and a wonderful place to relax. We enjoyed listening to records while sitting with our morning coffee looking at the deer out the tall windows. We visited several restaurants and shops in both Nisswa and Pequot Lakes, and we enjoyed them all. It was a perfect weekend away, and we hope to be back in the future!

Perfect Getaway!

We loved our stay at Cabin au Nord! Loved the cozy design and all of the attention to detail. Can't wait to stay again!

Relaxing

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights and we were truly blown away. Not only is the property itself beautiful, but it was the perfect little getaway to rejuvenate and relax ourselves while disconnecting for a bit (don't worry the wifi works great though!). We loved the window views of the sunrises/sunsets and saw quite a bit of fun wildlife too like swans and woodpeckers! Highly recommend a stay here - make sure to bring s'mores ingredients for their solo stove! :)
