LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT
Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow.
If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.
These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.
SAFETY & CANCELLATION
While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.
Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.
Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.

Casa Swell A | Studio Walking Distance to Bodhi Tree

We think this place is a gem, the neighbourhood is mostly residential, and there are plenty of walking paths nearby to help beat the heat and get to core areas for food and services if you choose to walk. We loved the clean, charming indoor living space with a perfect little kitchen. Beautiful gardens, relaxing outdoor shower, personal hammock and shared pool area to enjoy post-surf for us. Our fellow guests were quiet and also private and relaxed. The responsiveness of the Rent Nosara team was very helpful, and they made the whole trip a breeze from start to finish.

We think this place is a gem.

Great local spot close to everything including the beach! Hospitable hosts and even included welcome coffee and fruit.

Great local spot close to everything including the beach!

Had a wonderful time here from start to finish! They answered all inquiries immediately and made sure I was comfortable during my stay. Great location for yoga at Bodhi tree and a short walk to the beach. Always felt secure staying here, would recommend to anyone visiting Nosara :)

Had a wonderful time here from start to finish!

We stayed at Swell A for just under two weeks and had a great experience. They sent us everything we needed via Whats App, which made the self check-in very easy. The property is gated and very private. There are staff members who come by during the week to make sure everything is perfect, and they were all very welcoming. We really liked the location. It’s not in the busy part of Nosara, so it’s nice and quiet—except for the howler monkeys, haha! It’s ideal for surfers, as the beach is only a 5-minute walk away. The Airbnb has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication through Whats App was also very easy and quick. We would not hesitate to come back!

We would not hesitate to come back!
