Boathouse Point on Lake Greenwood SC

From the moment we arrived at Boathouse Point, it was clear that Deana and Jim have poured their hearts into every detail to make this small slice of heaven memorable. A personalized welcome note, complete with all the fixings for s’mores, immediately made us feel less like guests and more like friends. The home’s layout was perfect for our family of 9, offering generous spaces to connect while still providing quiet corners to unwind. The decor honors the original 1950s cabin with classic touches throughout. In addition to the well-stocked kitchen, books, games, lake fun, and yard activities (they thought of every need!), the star of the show was the lake view. Morning coffee and after dinner drinks were enjoyed watching the glittering water and sunsets. We will definitely return. Many times.

The house and location are great. There was plenty of room for the eleven of us and the property is very spacious. Deana and Jim were immediately responsive with any questions. They went above and beyond my normal expectations. It's also a great place to catch some fish. The first morning I caught five small bass right off the dock and there are great fishing spots in the area right in front of the house. I would definitely recommend and I will be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Boathouse point on Lake Greenwood! From the moment we arrived, the home felt welcoming, comfortable, and so relaxing. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a perfect lake getaway. The views were beautiful, and we spent so much time enjoying and relaxing in and by the lake!
The house was spacious, thoughtfully stocked, and we felt right at home! This was exactly the escape we needed. Deana and Jim were fantastic, communication was easy, and everything was just as described. We made some wonderful memories during our stay and absolutely recommend Boathouse Point to anyone looking for a relaxing lake retreat!! We are already planning our next trip!! The location makes everything perfect. The house is full of love and is cozy. My husband said that even with 11 people staying there we never felt crowded or on top of each other. The couches to sit on are comfortable. You do have to drive about 20ish minutes to have a variety of food options, but you know that going in. The owners live right next door and came and greeted us and updated us on lake conditions. The kids played tag in the yard, took pictures at the sunset, went kayaking everyday, made smores and laid in the hammock. You would have never guessed we were there for a college graduation because it felt like the perfect lake vacation. My kids want to go back, my husband wants to buy one just like it and I loved watching the memories made. It was a win/win/win.
