Little Oak River Retreat

Gorgeous location, a beautiful spot to spend a weekend away from the city and see the leaves change colors. Cozy and comfortable.

Cozy and comfortable

This was a the perfect getaway we didnt know we needed! With everything we need right one site! The quietness, listening to the river flow, and soaking up time in the sauna were our highlights!

Perfect getaway!

We found this place when looking for a quick get away. It was an easy drive from the metro & close enough to Pine City for any last minute needs , but far enough away to enjoy the quiet nights. The firepit next to the river has beautiful views and privacy from the adjacent cottage's fire pit. The home had good clean well water and a spacious shower/ restroom for after the sauna. All of the bedding was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils for prepping easy meals, we brought our air fryer since there is no oven which worked well. The grill was easy to use and cooked steaks nicely. The sitting area on the front had a nice roof overhead to stay dry during the rains we encountered. Directions were easy and informative for the sauna, this was a great highlight ! Would definitely recommend bringing hiking boots/shoes if you go on a walk after any rains. It was such a great experience and wonderful property, we look forward to going back

Great Escape

A beautiful, cozy little space! The sauna was amazing and very relaxing. Little Oak River was a peaceful getaway and I would highly recommend to friends and family!
