We welcomed the New Year at The Field House. This was our third visit and, as before, it was a rewarding and absolutely relaxing experience.  The house is kept in perfect order, and it really feels like home away from home. The snowy welcome to 2025 was a special treat.  The Burtons are very welcoming and available.  We recommend TFH in the highest possible terms, but worry of creating too much demand that we loose out in the future! Regardless, we give five stars to TFH with our heartfelt compliments.

New Year's Joy

Had the most amazing week here! The Field House is absolutely stunning, both inside and out, could not have asked for more. The design and layout is brilliant, open-plan but really cosy and welcoming, immaculately clean, and the simple, tasteful decor and extremely high-quality furnishings and appliances just complete it perfectly. Waking up to the view of the mountains over Loch Alsh was a real treat, and then coming home from a day's exploring to a warm welcome, getting the fire going, and enjoying the sunset through the huge windows from the comfort of the sofas was just bliss. Absolutely loved everything about it and can not wait to return. Thank you! :)

Absolute perfection!

The Field House is a great property, modern, clean, very well equipped, beautiful view across the loch to watch the ever changing weather. Russell was very easy to communicate with, sent us all the property information in advance. Plenty of good walks locally and easy access to Skye. Would definitely recommend The Field House.

Great House

Great house in a lovely yet accessible location. It was great to know that a warm welcoming haven awaited after a day in the hills. Really appreciated the well equipped kitchen as we love to cook. We would happily return.

Practicality wrapped in style and comfort

We stayed at The Field House in August 2024. Well placed for exploring The Kyle of Lochalsh and The Isle of Skye. The house had everything we needed and was clean and modern. 

Would highly recommend.
