The home is also walking distance to many restaurants including Glen Carbon's gem, the Wooden Nickel. The house is a 6 minute drive to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUe) campus.

Sophie was an excellent host. We stayed during the Christmas season and she had a small tree and decorations up when we arrived. She also bought a folding table and chairs for us to accommodate a dinner that we had. Super comfortable beds and had everything that we needed. Would definitely stay again!!! Owner very responsive. She was willing to let us check in early since i was traveling with my elderly parents. The house was very nice for 3 adults, clean and comfortable. Great for Elderly Parents

Sophie's place was perfect for visiting family in Edwardsville. The dining table was perfect for gaming. My king bed was comfy with nice linens. The kitchen was very well equipped and nicely laid out. We can't wait to go back! (Review from third party booking platform)
