 Surfside Cottage is located in Moneta, which is on the Bedford County side of Smith Mountain Lake and close to everything! This prime location offers easy access to major roads, grocery stores, boat rentals, restaurants and activities, which are all within a short drive or boat ride. The house is on a quiet cove with low traffic and it's a quick 5 minute boat ride to the main channel. This lakeside location cannot be beat!

 The cottage is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood with about 15 homes, surrounded by farmland and gorgeous lake views. It's the perfect place to relax, let the kids (and dogs) play and enjoy nature. You'll even have a view of Smith Mountain on your way to the house!

*Please note: we are currently renovating the basement level to make more space for guests, so it will not be accessible during your stay. But, rest assured there will not be any construction during your time at the cottage. There are three exterior security cameras at the property, which are located at the front porch and basement door.*

This was our first time at the lake and it was very peaceful. The was clean and equipped with everything you need even spices which is so nice. We brought our jet skis that we used almost every day just one day of rain. Used the kayaks which were supplied by owner. 
John the owner was very nice and responsive with all our questions even before we rented. Thank you John

Quiet and peaceful

Surfside Cottage was exactly as described! You do not find this often! We were close to everything, the home was furnished beautifully, had anything you needed as far as essentials, beds were comfy, and the lake was right in our front door! The host checked in on us at arrival to make sure we did not need anything, which was awesome! I would highly recommend staying here, we plan to again!

Wonderful Place!

We had an amazing time at Surfside Cottage. The location was perfect and so convenient to dock at the house with quick access to the lake. Will definitely stay here again!

Such a great place

We absolutely LOVED staying here!! The owners responded immediately to a question we had one evening 😊 The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need!! The area was quiet, there was plenty of parking... we will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!!!

Perfection!!!!

Wow!  The pictures didn't do it justice.  ANYTHING you would need on a vacation was there!  Our labs absolutely loved it.  Back porch sitting was the best.
