Pelican Watch is a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom bayside waterfront beach house that has been updated throughout. The tastefully decorated home is unique and relaxing. The open floor plan has the living room, kitchen, and dining room overlooking the Mississippi Sound. The outdoor deck wraps around both the North and West side of the house with ample space for peaceful beach evenings. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with views of the Gulf of America. This house is ideal for family vacations!

All 100% cotton bed linens and blankets are provided.
Bathrooms - Hall bath has a tub. King bath has a full-size shower. Both bathrooms have a hair dryer. The hall bathroom has a toddler seat available under the sink for our little guests. All bath towels, hand towels, and wash clothes are provided. A starter set of shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toilet paper are also provided.
Kitchen - Fully Stocked with all table ware, pots & pans, and all appliances needed to make our house your home. A starter roll of paper towels and several garbage bags are provided.
Den - We have an electric fireplace for colder evenings. There is a wide selection of DVDs available for guests to enjoy, as well as a variety of boardgames. We also have an assortment of indoor activities for younger quests.
TVs - There is a TV in the den with a DVD player, and each bedroom has its own TV.

Pelican Watch Beach House on Dauphin Island AL

Had a great time at Pelican Watch. Nice Beach house with private beach on the bayside that is perfect for Kayaks, small sailboats and beautiful sunset views... The house is very comfortable and has everything you need for a vacation on Dauphin Island...

Everything You Need

We had the best time staying at Pelican Watch, even if we didnt necessarily have the best weather during our stay. Fantastic place to stay on Dauphin Island! Having access to the bay side was perfect due to the double red flag days we had throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Place to Stay!

It is a very family friendly place to stay. We were able to spend a lot of time at the beach on the bay side because of the location! We really enjoyed our vacation, and it felt like we were right at home.

Very Family Friendly

Our family loved our stay at Pelican Watch. Susan was very responsive and great to work with. We appreciated being on the Bay Side since the Gulf Side was on double red flag warning during much of the week. My grandkids could still get in the water on our personal Bayside beach area. Warning to future visitors: Be sure to bring bug spray for the mosquitos if you choose to stay on this side! They can be ruthless! We highly recommend this property and would love to come back!

Loved Our Stay

Absolutely amazing stay at Pelican Watch. This was honestly one of the best vacations my wife and I have ever had. I’ve never really taken a true relaxing vacation before, and this place completely changed that for us.
The house was warm, welcoming, and comfortable from the moment we walked in. Waking up on the bay side and being less than a 4 minute walk to the ocean side beach was perfect. My wife loves Dauphin Island and said this was way better than the usual condos she stayed at before.
The house was also awesome for our dogs. They even provided sheets for the couch for dogs, which immediately told us dogs are family here. We saw pelicans, dolphins, and lots of wildlife during our stay, and the deck was the perfect place to sit, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the water.
Beach chairs, boogie boards, and everything we needed were already there. Truly an amazing, peaceful place to recharge. We will absolutely be back.
