<p>This home represents the last of five promises I made to my wife 22 years ago and is the jewel of them all. Nestled just 35 minutes from the amazing Gulf Beaches, 30 minutes from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, and just feet away from our slice of heaven. This crystal clear spring-fed lake can be enjoyed from the covered dock or by the provided Kayaks (or bring your own boat). Enjoy the beauty of nature without sacrificing civilization. The intimate space is cozy enough for a couple of families to enjoy the great Florida coastal lifestyle. Relax on the large deck, cook breakfast or dinner on the Blackstone, and swing away whether you choose on a hammock or a bench. There is plenty of room to tie your watercraft off, float to your heart's content, then clean off in the luxurious outdoor shower. From the water to the road, the entire property is your home away from home. I will be available by phone to handle any issues and talk through any needs. For people who enjoy nature, we are surrounded by a number of popular springs, rivers, and parks in the area. We have Kayaks as well as a number of floats, balls, and other water toys to make the hours on the water fun for everyone.</p>

The Fifth Promise - A Cozy Lakehouse Retreat

I’ve been to a lot of AirBnBs and this was by far the most beautiful place. It fits 8 people and 3bed, 2 bath with a private living space. Very cozy. The deck is supplied with a TV, multiple hangout spots, blackstone grill kept clean. Free propane. Very responseful owners and love pets but didn’t seem like pets were there before. My young family thought it was better than Universal/Disney with the no planning and didn’t leave the property for 3 nights. Crystal lake is so peaceful a beautiful. A hidden gem. Only 30 minutes from Panama City too. Thanks for the kayaks and lifetime memories!

What a beautiful stay with no need to go anywhere!!! If you love the water you can stay busy for days swimming fishing kayaking. There’s even a boat ramp for this lake so you can tube and what not! We enjoyed every bit of it!

Beautiful lake with kayaking. Walks around the lake. Short drive to Panama City Beach. Bonfire fun. Pet friendly. Great host.

Bonfire Fun

Our family of four humans and two dogs loved our stay. The property has so many amenities that we didn’t even use half of them. The spacious deck and pavilion areas were great for relaxing and wildlife watching. Spotted multiple bird types perch on the deck railing even whilst humans and dogs were present. The lake is beautiful and our dogs loved swimming and playing fetch on the sand. Our kids enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding (together, no less!) and parents did not have to worry about big waves or other dangers. The house provided plenty of room and the living room was perfect for family movie nights at the end of the day. Location was central to explore the area: we checked out Pitt and Sylvan Springs, Blue Spring, Falling Waters State Park, Shell Island, and Panama City Beach. Sunsets viewed on the sandy beach were incredible! All the normal things were great too (comfy beds, ample water pressure, cooking/dining needs). This was a perfect getaway and an absolute dog paradise!
