🏡 Room with a private terrace in a 17th-century manor — Av. Terras da Nóbrega, 994, Vade, Ponte da Barca, Portugal

Some places are simply somewhere to sleep. And then there is Casa da Agrela. A 17th-century manor house in the heart of the Alto Minho, 15 minutes from the Peneda-Gerês National Park, with views over the Vade river valley and the intimate feel of a small family-run country hotel.

The Upper Room (Quarto de Cima) is the most special in the house: it has a private entrance, a separate bedroom, a full private bathroom and a private 28 m² terrace with panoramic views over the valley. Ideal for 2 guests looking for an authentic, intimate and distinctive retreat in northern Portugal. And all of it with a homemade breakfast included.
