Black Bear Lodge, Twin Lakes Country Cabins

We stayed here when visiting family in the area. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to hotels/lodging and I put this cabin and property at the top of my list. Owners are present and helpful, extremely clean inside the cabin and around the grounds. Water activities on site with hiking trails a short drive away. Will without a doubt recommend to anyone who likes downtime in a beautiful and quiet space. Can’t wait to return.

Ultimate Peace & Quiet

Had a great time relaxing with the whole family for the weekend. The owner were great and on location turning their slice of wilderness in to a beautiful venue. Great place in Indiana to stay and have a great time!!!

GREAT GET AWAY

The whole experience was amazing! Absolutely loved everything about the property!! I definitely found my place to go to when I need absolute peace and quiet, and a place of tranquility and relaxation. Black Bear Lodge had all the comforts of home and is very well maintained. I had the bedroom door opened at night because it was a cool evening and I was woken by the beautiful sounds of nature the next morning. My family will be back in July and I can't wait!

Amazing place

We rented this cabin for a wedding we were attending in Louisville, Ky. We wanted something out of the city, private, and a retreat from daily life. This cabin was amazing. The kitchen was well thought out and provided for all our needs. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and roomy for the 8 of us. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the sheets just let you melt into them. The host couple thought of every detail from luxurious towels, beautiful rustic decor, and space well used to create a spacious feel and room to move about. The porches invited one out even on a chilly morning for coffee and conversation. The grounds were quiet, inviting for walks, boating, and hiking. Lastly, our hosts were exemplary in communication and response. Thank you we look forward to a return visit.
