Large Historic Retreat in DT Lancaster w/ HOT TUB!

I’m giving this 5 stars, but would give it 10 if I could. My immediate family of 14–seven adults and seven kids—stayed there over the long Labor Day weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I honestly didn’t expect it to be “luxury,” but it was!Plenty of large, plush towels. Really nice bath and body products. An assortment of teas and coffees along with a coffee pot, Keurig, and a hot water pot for us tea snobs who like boiling water, which hasn’t touched coffee! We ate all our meals in the house, and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped. The gas grill was brand new and at each meal about half of us sat outside on the beautiful patio with a large table and umbrella. The hot tub was used both days, and again plenty of plush towels for it. We enjoyed the pool table and the poker table (no real money, just chips 😊). We listened to some of the record collection, read books from the library, took a short walk to Central Market, and would book Vine Street Luxury Retreat again in a heartbeat! The host was extremely responsive and took care of a couple of issues that cropped up before we checked in and all of our needs after arrival. (Photo is of us and our grands after we reluctantly checked out!)

10 Stars

My fiancé and I are local to Lancaster and wanted to host a large group of out-of-town friends to celebrate our engagement in our hometown, but our home is not quite large enough for everyone to stay with us. Thankfully, we found this absolute GEM of an Airbnb! We had an amazing weekend with all our friends at the Vine Street Retreat! This house has it all— incredible location walkable to restaurants/bars, beautiful decor, fabulous amenities, and more! Everything in this home is so thoughtful and welcoming. We loved exploring all the unique rooms, and the library was a huge hit. We could have spent hours in there checking out the amazing book and vinyl record collection! The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need to prepare a home-cooked meal.We would absolutely stay here again; our friends talked about booking it to stay for our wedding in June! You will not regret staying here; but you WILL regret NOT staying here! 10/10!

Don't Miss This Place! 10/10!

This place was incredible! Some friends and I booked it while we were in town for a wedding instead of staying at a hotel, and it was exactly what we were looking for. A place big enough for our group while still being close to everything we could've wanted. We loved the pool table and got a lot of use out of it. Donny was a great host and was communicative, flexible, and informative. The place is only like a 5-10 minute walk to bars and restaurants and other fun places to be.

Wedding Stay

We had a fantastic stay. The accommodations and location were just perfect for our large family gathering. There was a lot to do very close by, but we really didn’t leave the house much! Everyone loved it there, and the house itself was very unique and fun to hang out in. Every amenity we could think of was provided. And the few issues we did have were quickly and graciously addressed by Donny. We can’t wait to go back for our next family get-together.

Family Group

This house did not disappoint! Great outdoor space, check! Adorable library with the most comfortable chair and great games, check! SUPER comfortable beds - even the trundle and bunk beds, check! Stocked with all the necessities for a long weekend, check! All the attention to detail in this beautiful home was even better in person. I brought a group of 14 women, and everyone LOVED the house. The space really was conducive to this large of a group - from plenty of room to cook and enjoy a large meal, to enough bathroom space for everyone to get ready for a night out. Donny was responsive and helpful before, during, and after our stay. The whole group cannot say enough good things about our stay. We're looking for an excuse to come back soon!
