Across the street to the park where the greatest and most famous slovenian poet was burried - now turned into a beautiful memorial park. There is a staircase going down to the canyon in the street behind the house. It leads to a scenic path by the river. The main bus station is only a few minutes walk from the house. To get to the city center it will take you 3 minutes to walk there, if you want to get into the nature you have a staircase to the canyon right behind the house. Sports park with olympic pool and tennins courts is 10minutes away by walk. If you come in your own car there is a parking just in front of the house, from there you can be anywhere in Slovenia in a matter maximum of two hours. Bled is 20 minutes away and Ljubljana about 25. Buses are also available. The closest ski resort is Krvavec, 25min drive. There is also a bus taking you there a few times per day. It is an apartment on the ground floor of the villa, not the whole house.
