There are many local hiking trails nearby the house, some folks suggest the North Crestone Trailhead, Willow lake is a great day hike, and the Creekside trails along the greenbelts in the Baca Grande Subdivision are spectacular and lush. The Challenger Views on Ridgecrest is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and folks looking for a peaceful mountain getaway. Crestone, Colorado is in the middle of the San Luis Valley.
