Firefall Lodge

This year we, a dutch family with five children, spent three weeks touring west america, and were lucky enough to have booked Firefall lodge. For two days we enjoyed the fantastic house, had a great barbecue and enjoyed the park and the surroundings. Highly recommended.

Firefall lodge, fantastic home

I visited Firefall lodge for a girl's trip with 4 good friends. We had an absolute blast. Erin and Brian truly have thought of everything at this vacation rental. The kitchen is fully stoked with all the tools you could need. The entry instructions were clear and precise. I thought the Guidebook was a helpful, thoughtful touch! Everything was very clean and the beds were warm and cozy. It was the perfect place to just chill, drink wine, and play games all weekend. We even ventured into the park to see the Firefall waterfall which was about a 1.5 hour drive - just needed a day pass for parking inside the park. We went to see El Capitan and then watched Free Solo... we were ALL in on this adventure! Would love to see it in the summertime. We will be back!

3 Cheers for Firefall Lodge!

Loved our stay! We had a lovely stay with family ages 15 to 80. The kitchen was better equipped than we expected and we did a lot of cooking. Very comfortable space and good for gathering. 10 minute drive to the southgate, but at least an hour to Yosemite Valley. Setting is beautiful, quiet, very responsive host as well - we needed some help with an icy driveway and it was fixed that afternoon. I will totally plan on returning here!

Firefall viewing

This place was every bit as beautiful as the pictures. Super comfortable with beautiful views outside. A great place to come back to after hiking and exploring Yosemite.

Yosemite vacation

The house was well-maintained and beautifully decorated, and well-located for our day trips to Yosemite.
