Casa Moonshine - Two Casitas

We really enjoyed the house, location, and the pool. The house is far enough to feel remote but close enough to town to feel convenient. Large grocery store only 25 minutes away. We spent most of the time at the house and felt like it had everything we needed (pool, rooftop, AC, stocked kitchen, outdoor lounge, etc). And as someone who lives in the middle of an urban city, the wildlife was incredible. It took a couple of hours to adjust but very very cool to experience. We saw cardinals, eagles, wild burros, bunnies, doves, and many more daily (and hourly). The house felt very respectful to the surroundings and the wildlife. And the only time i have been on pristine beach and was the only person for miles. Have been to many "top" beaches from Cuba to Montenegro, and the beach at zacatitos was by far the cleanest and pristine. The beach is beautiful. Highly recommend to those on the fence. Skip the condos, the town/resorts, and book here. Thanks Susan!!

Fantastic

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, rural property. The home was very clean and having the pool all to ourselves made it feel like a private retreat. We chose not to rent a car and were still able to walk to the beach, a coffee shop, and a local restaurant. On most walks, we were greeted by the sweetest burros and their babies, which was such a charming touch. The whale watching from the beach this time of year was incredible and made our stay even more special. As a group of women seeking some rest & relaxation, we felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. Because the area is quite rural, we stopped at a grocery store on our way in and had everything we needed for a relaxing and unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!

Beautiful rural property with private pool!

This is our second stay at Casa Moonshine. We just love the charm of the little cottages just a very short walk to a beautiful swimming beach. The cottages are very clean, comfortable and fully equipped to cook and enjoy meals together. And love the outside surroundings. A beautiful pool, wonderful outdoor seating and tables to enjoy the gardens, the birds, butterflies and dragonflies. Such a peaceful retreat! Thank you again. Hosts are also so welcoming and helpful with any need.

Loved our stay!!

Such a unique place surrounded by beautiful desert and endless beaches. Great outdoor common area and beautiful modern casitas. We loved it and will be back.

You won't be disappointed staying at Casa Moonshine. While the home isn't directly on the beach, it's nestled among a beautiful variety of trees, flowers, and cactus—truly stunning. About 25 min down the coast, you will find the perfect surfing waves in Los Fortuna. The property and surrounding community offer everything you need for an unforgettable vacation. And I almost forgot to mention the neighbourhood donkeys and humpback Wales that pass by daily.
