Tucked into a quiet corner of Hotel La Luz, this private air-conditioned studio is an ideal jungle retreat for solo travelers, couples, or guests seeking a peaceful longer stay in Akumal.
Inside, you'll find a comfortable double bed, fast reliable WiFi, and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas range, oven, cookware, and everything needed for easy at-home meals. Soft sanitized bedding, strong A/C, and thoughtful essentials make the space simple, functional, and comfortable.
One of the studio's best features is its private rooftop patio — a breezy perch above the jungle canopy where guests can enjoy morning coffee, birdwatching, or a quiet evening under the palms. A shaded front porch offers an additional place to sit and unwind.
As a guest of Hotel La Luz, you'll also have access to the property's cenote-inspired swimming pool, open-air gym, charcoal grill patio, and jungle walking paths. Despite the secluded natural setting, the studio is equipped with dependable high-speed internet, making it suitable for remote work and extended stays.
Hotel La Luz is intentionally immersed in the tropical landscape, which means daily encounters with birds, lizards, butterflies, geckos, and the occasional jungle bug are part of the experience. Guests seeking polished resort sterility may be happier elsewhere — this is a stay designed for nature lovers who appreciate privacy, greenery, and authentic Riviera Maya atmosphere.
Akumal's beaches, snorkeling, restaurants, and grocery stores are just a short drive away, while Tulum and Playa del Carmen remain easily accessible for day trips.
