Anna's 2-Story with Eagle's Nest

We were soooo pleased with our Trapper Bunk Room! The whole property was just amazing and Eric and his helper Andrew were super kind and friendly, helpful and accommodating. We loved sitting on the front porch of the main house enjoying the beautiful views, the dining and kitchen areas were so nice and the common area bathrooms were very clean ! We met some really great travelers that were also staying in different cabins while hanging out in the dining area. We will definitely tell our friends about Chulitna River Lodge!

Awesome and peaceful!

Crazy cool place! We drove away pinching ourselves, asking if this place was real or if we just dreamed it? Booked last minute and weren’t sure what to expect but WOW. Mark met us when we walked in the lodge to checkin, and he and the others in the dining room were so welcoming, friendly and hospitable I was almost a little freaked out for a few minutes. What we quickly came to realize is that we had arrived at a true gem, hosted by a true gentleman. We met lovely people from Italy, Idaho, Louisiana and Texas and sat at the lodge visiting with them for several hours (not our usual thing). The Denali view cabin was just gorgeous - rustic - comfortable-clean and had such a stunning view.
This family has made this historic property into something really special. The beauty of God’s creation, the interaction with wonderful people and the soul feeding experience was something we will always remember about our trip. We would love to bring our family here and stay longer!

Magical

The lodge offered EVERYTHING you need for a fantastic experience.
Conveniently located near Denali parks, you can take in views of Denali right across the street, hop on a scenic hike right off the property, boat in the summer, and ice skate and snowmobile in the winter.
The lake on property has a dock that is nice to just sit on and take in the view.
The staff are VERY friendly and helpful, hooking you up with anything you need, from snacks to local adventure planning to suit your personal taste.
The communal lodge kitchen feels like home and you never know who you might meet while you are drinking your morning coffee or cooking up some dinner.
Fantastic amenities.
Loved this stay.

A real gem 💎

Mark Majors, I just wanted to say your log cabin resort was absolutely amazing. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and so well taken care of—it really felt like a home away from home. You’ve built something special there, and I can’t wait to come back! Our 3 days passed way too fast.

Shunem cottage.

We stayed this past week with a group of 12 adults and rented the entire property. We had an amazing time. Loved the accommodations. Easy access to Denali. Mike was amazingly helpful and responsive. I hope we can go back next year!
