Hotel Tranquilo Deluxe King Suite

I was recommended to go to Las Penitas a small surfing village by the locals and it was amazing, I stayed at Hotel Tranquilo and it was all first class, the service, pool, food, music play list and drinks, if you are lucky you will meet the owners Jack and Carmen, they go above and beyond. I highly recommend it.

Amazing experience, a hidden paradise

Hotel Tranquilo is truly a bit of heavenly paradise when you’re traveling. The owners Carmen and Jack have made it a home away from home for their guests. Axel the manager, along with the other employees pay attention to the smallest of details. From the moment we arrived until the time we left the staff did everything to make us comfortable so that we could just enjoy our time. From arranging rides, tours and setting up massages, everything was taken care of. Axel even made a special requested drink for us- which was delicious!
The King Room was a very nice size and we spent a great amount of time enjoying the private covered patio right outside the room. The pool was wonderful, the beach was right out our back door and the sunsets were absolutely amazing.
This isn’t just a hotel, it’s a place where memories and friends are made!
Thank you Hotel Tranquilo for the memories! See you next time!

A Little Piece of Paradise!

I was so pleased with my stay at Hotel Tranquilo.
This was my first time in Nicaragua. I was here to work on a new church built outside of Leon.
The Pros: Axel and Carmen, these two individuals should be well compensated for the great work that they do. They are so accommodating, you ask and they deliver and with such a great attitude and enthusiasm. I stayed in the King Room and it was more than adequate. I ate breakfast here every morning and many dinners and never had a bad meal. In fact, most meals were better than what I get in the USA at restaurants and all meals were from scratch.
I had my room cleaned several times and clothes washed several times and I can say that I was well pleased.
I walked at least a mile in both directions from the hotel and felt very safe. I asked for a driver to take me to Leon on the first Saturday morning that I was there and Hosa arrived and I used him as a driver for 2 weeks. I rode the bus from Leon one day and everyone was so nice to make sure I was on the correct bus( I used the apple translation app). If I come back to this area of Nicaragua again, I will only stay at Hotel Tranquilo.
The cons: more cleaning of the chairs outside, the tiki bar and the pool.
Thank you for making my first visit to Nicaragua such a memorable experience!

Stayed 5/31 to 6/14/24

Beautiful!

My husband and I traveled to Las Penitas with a group of friends, so booked all 4 rooms at Hotel Tranquilo for 4 nights. All of us were beyond happy with this beautiful place- the accomodations, the service, and the setting could not have been better! The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

Perfection!
