LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT
Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow.
If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.
These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.
SAFETY & CANCELLATION
While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.
Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security bars when available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.

Casa Colinas | Stylish Villa Heart of Pelada

I rented this house for my family for my wedding weekend and they ABSOLUTELY loved it. The kids loveeeed the room with the bunk beds, the house is very well equipped, the pool was super fun and everything was perfect. When they left they reached out to tell us their cleaning team found a cellphone, thank you so much for getting that back to us!

I rented this house for my family and they ABSOLUTELY loved it.

The house is beautiful and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The laundry room is very helpful. Beds, linens and towels were great. The pool was a great hit with the kids. The location was fine. It’s a short walk from the beach and shops (about 10 - 15min), but a bit challenging if you have little kids. Renting a golf cart or ATV is recommended to get around, specially in the dry season when there is a lot of dust. If planning to get to Guiones and other nearby location, then you need a side by side or 4x4 car as the roads are bumpy. The concierge team was very responsive. We had issues with power outages and water supply for most of our stay, as forewarned in the listing. Pura Vida!

The house is beautiful and spacious.

We LOVED our stay at Casa Colinas. The home is beautiful and has all of the amenities a guest could hope for. The home itself is very well designed and well built with thoughtful finishes. The space flows very well and feels both very open and very private. The bedrooms are very spacious, and the beds and linens were extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals at home. The pool is a perfect oasis. This is clearly a home where the hosts have put thought into the actual living experience, not just the appearance. The location is awesome - easy walking distance to the beach and the best restaurants and shops in Playa Pelada. The Rent Nosara Team was incredibly helpful and provided a totally seamless experience. My wife and I have travelled extensively and stayed at AirBnBs all over the world. This was hands down the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in and a great value for the experience. We can't wait to go back!

We LOVED our stay at Casa Colinas.

Muy linda casa y muy buena atención de los hospederos.

The house was beautiful, comfortable, and convenient to the beach and restaurants. Host was very responsive throughout our stay. Would stay here again!
