The outdoor area with swings and hammocks is perfect for relaxing under then shade of the house and deck. There is also a 6 person hot tub for socializing and fun when the sun goes down. You can enjoy the adjacent bar area and mini fridge here as well, so you don't have to go far for refreshments when enjoying the waterfront. The dock has a large umbrella for shade while you fish or enjoy the view. Use the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand or just enjoy the warm summer weather.
Included in your stay is use of our outdoor ping pong table, 2 stand up paddleboards, 1 2-person sit on top kayak, 1 2-person canoe, and a 4 person float. Lifejackets are required for use of the watercraft, and many different sizes are provided.
There is a small sandy beach area right in the back yard. The water here is shallow and calm, with the Chesapeake Bay visible from the house and just a short paddle downstream. The bottom is beautifully sandy. Upstream is more muddy and marshy, and we regularly get visits from bald eagles, herons, and many other kinds of wildlife.

Sandy Bottoms at Stingray Point!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home; well-appointed and meticulously styled with no detail left out- down to the house guide and area recommendations. The property is right on the water where we could easily launch paddleboards and kayaks. Grateful to Beth for letting us make memories here. Would gladly go back!

Perfect getaway

My family and a friend's family stayed at Beth's AMAZING house in May. The waterfront view is gorgeous, the water was perfect (even when the temp got a bit cold) and the sand is so soft. My kids loved it, and could shower off in the outside shower before they went back in the house to get sand off. Due to weather we didn't use the 2 paddle boats, boards, or kayaks but love that they have them and life jackets. Obviously the house is perfect, but what I really loved was Beth's attention to detail. She is the most thoughtful host- there was everything you need (coffee, cleaning supplies, beach towels, shampoo, garbage bags ). I cannot recommend staying here enough and would love to go again!
