Lakeside Point on Douglas Lk/Dock/Hot Tub/Retreat

The last 20 minutes of the drive out to the property is a tight winding road. May be difficult for those with larger vehicles and could be dangerous at night. That same 20 minute drive will need to be made every time you need to go the grocery store or visit anywhere else. Benefit of that drive is that the house is isolated and very quiet. Felt like we had that part of the lake to ourselves the entire time we were there.Stunning view of the sunset from the deck.House was very clean and well kept with new furniture. Two bedrooms upstairs each had king size beds and a daybed/trundle. Mattresses were plush and comfortable. Each upstairs bedrooms had its own deck. Both upstairs bedrooms had independent climate control. Main level had one bedroom, living room, kitchen, and a full bathroom. Living room had enough room to seat 5. Dining room table could seat 8. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, and good assortment of utensils. Also had a good selection of spices and cooking oil. Bedroom on the main floor was smaller than upstairs bedrooms, but furniture and mattress were just as nice.Downstairs had a pool table, air hockey table, arcade table, and some board games. Washer and dryer were downstairs. Detergent and dryer sheets were provided.Walk down to the dock is steep and could prove difficult for those with mobility issues. The dock looks to be large enough to dock a pontoon boat or something similar. There was a ladder into the water for swimmers.

Quiet & Private

Beautiful home and view of the lake and mountains. We really enjoyed our stay here!!

Lake & Mountain Views

We had a wonderful stay during my sisters bachelorette weekend! We loved all the amenities & extra attention to detail all through out the house! We all kept saying how it was one of our favorite stays. The sunsets from the deck were unbelievable! Would absolutely stay again.

A Favorite Stay

This place is truly beautiful. The privacy and views are wonderful. The place accommodated our rather large family very comfortably. Summer was one of the friendliest we had on Airbnb. Labeling and attention to small details were great. There was a pack n play set up prior to our arrival, a clean high chair, and a baby gate which were so handy. Everything felt up to date and we didn’t feel like we were missing without. Our young kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves here. The walk back from the water is very steep though for their legs (and the pregnant Mrs) but that was an oversight on our part at booking. The water was perfect for swimmingWe also overlooked the distance this would be to go out and about. Bc it is so private, it is about 30 min drive just to get out of the area to the nearest gas station/grocery/etc. Not a problem typically, a bit of a haul if you’re trying to go out a lot (with young kids who already are over being in the car) but we were very pleased with our stay.

Truly Beautiful

Fantastic home with beautiful views and access to water. The attention to details by the host were outstanding. The host thought of every little thing you would need from kitchen gadgets to q tips to floats for the lake, etc. The place was functional, comfortable, and beautiful which is a rare find. We thought this was a perfect escape from the hustle of the busy city but close enough to convenient shopping etc. We found ourselves playing in the lake all day to playing video games on the arcade machine at night. This was one of our favorite Airbnbs so far and would love to return.
