You will not be disappointed! We spent a week at Gekko House in November, and couldn’t have asked for a better stay, or more accommodating host! The views are stunning, the beach is incredible, and the rooms are huge! Just a short ride to all the hot spots, we were able to spend days lounging by the pool or out exploring the island. There truly isn’t a single detail missed; pools toys for families with kids, everything you need to cook for yourself, and even a stocked pantry of personal items for anything you might have left at home. This was the trip we’ll never forget and we owe that to Gekko House for allowing us to make family memories that will last a lifetime time!

Our family spent a truly unforgettable week at Gekko House while celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and renewing our vows. From the moment we booked, the hosts, Mark and Mai Lin, provided thoughtful and attentive communication that made the entire experience seamless.
The property itself is a private luxury retreat, featuring its own beach and pool, offering complete tranquility and privacy. Every detail has been carefully considered—from beach chairs, kayaks, snorkel gear, and yard games to a fully equipped chef’s kitchen and a perfectly set-up BBQ area. The home is beautifully designed for both relaxation and gathering, with plenty of comfortable seating indoors and around the pool.
The spa-like bathrooms, plush robes, and cozy spaces made every morning and evening feel indulgent. We also enjoyed a couple of catered dinners during our stay, which were absolutely exceptional.
Sharing this special milestone with our children, their spouses, and our granddaughter made the week even more meaningful. With nothing to worry about except relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Exuma, it truly felt like the perfect family getaway.
