We went on a mission to find the perfect get-away from London. We discovered this beautiful grade 2 listed house built in the white cliffs and fell in love with it's charm. Ramsgate has a cosmopolitan vibe, a bustling Royal harbour borders a yacht-packed marina, awash with history and overflowing with continental charisma.
The space
The house is in an amazing location on the beach front, this sun facing holiday home is a couple of footsteps to the golden sandy beach where the water is irresistible.
The house is perfect for entertaining, the kitchen/diner has large windows with views of the sea. Spill out into the private front garden, take in the panoramic views of the shore and really soak up the sea air. Enjoy breakfast as the sun comes up or watch the stunning sunsets with friends and family with a glass of prosecco or two!
Every great host needs an equally great kitchen table and ours is perfect for larger groups.
To make life easier there is an intergrated oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and microwave.
The large lounge is situated on the first floor and benefits from a balcony with the same uninterrupted views, perfect for a spot of seagull watching!
Relax on the comfy seven seater corner sofa, which is perfect to hang out and watch the smart flat screen TV or to simply wind down.
The master bedroom is the most romantic place you could be, french doors open onto a balcony with picture perfect views. After a hard day sunbathing let the sea breeze waft into the room whilst soaking in the roll top bath, with a glass of wine whilst watching the boats sail into the sunset. A tranquil retreat!
Next to the lounge is a bedroom with a bespoke contemporary double bunk bed made out of driftwood that sleeps four. It evokes the feeling of sleeping in a cabin on a boat, a iron wrought ladder replaces the traditional wardrobe and life buoys decorate the walls.
There are two double beds in the converted loft, its accessed by a few fixed steps.
The first level has a built in double mid sleeper and then up three steps, there is another double bed, but please note the bed is in the sloped eaves. There is a smart flat screen T.V with freeview channels.
The shower room with toilet and sink is on the second level next to the master bedroom and next to the stairs for the loft, the shower is built into the cliffs.
There is a toilet on the first floor level next to the lounge.
Please note there are stairs to every level, which is why the lounge and bedroom offer balconies with breath taking views.
Guest access
You will have access to the whole house and a private front garden.
and of course Ramsgate Coast for re-energising and relaxing.

After a challenging day's sailing between the North and South Forelands you are within a five minute walk from your berth to the yacht club where you can socialise with fellow competitors whilst enjoying our renowned hospitality and live music.
Ramsgate is 75 minutes from Central London making Ramsgate perfectly placed for a cosmopolitan break.
Ramsgate is England's original seaside escape and has been quietly reinventing itself, without fuss or fanfare. The character of this port town with it's fascinating maritime heritage and fine Regency architecture is now being shaped by a creative community of musicians and artists, many of whom have relocated from London and Brighton.

DOGS WELCOME!
We love our four-legged guests, and to be honest, they're often better behaved than some of our human ones! Up to 2 dogs are welcome, at £20 per dog per stay. Just let us know when you book, and a pet welcome pack will be waiting, with a clean blanket and a fresh white towel. Because they're worth it, and they deserve a good dry after a day playing on the beach!
To keep the home lovely for everyone, including future guests who may have dog allergies, we kindly ask that:

your dog is never left home alone (new places can feel stressful for them), unless they're crate trained. Need a dog sitter? Just ask us.

they stay off sofas, beds and soft furnishings (the blanket is all theirs!)

they're kept out of carpeted areas (please use the baby gate where one is provided)

you pick up after your dog in the outdoor space, bag it and pop it in the black bin

you let us know straight away about any accident or damage. We'd much rather know, so we can put it right.
