High ceilings, big windows, original stained-glass windows and spacious rooms make the property feel bright and airy and add to its charm and character. Set in a quiet neighbourhood with space to park on the drive and free on street parking. Many fantastic cafes, bars and restaurant are just a short walk away and have earned Prestwich the accolade of “Foodie neighbourhood of the year 2025” by Manchester Food and Drink awards.
Kitchen
The kitchen is well-stocked and has a large fridge freezer and oven. There’s also a separate combination microwave/oven/grill. There’s a washing machine and washing powder available if you need to do somme laundry. The lovely sunny bay window overlooks the garden where you can stit and enjoy your morning coffee/tea
Lounge
Very comfy sofa and two large armchairs so plenty of seating room for your group. Netflix is available for guests.
Dining Room
Leading on from the lounge is dining room with a large table and chairs with the ability to extend the table if necessary. There are lovely views of the garden from this room through the French doors.
Bedrooms
All the bedrooms have high quality mattresses, duvet and pillows in addition to black out curtains to ensure a fantastic night’s sleep.
Master bedroom
Lovely spacious bedroom with king size bed. Plenty of storage including a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table with drawers. 
Second Bedroom
Another spacious room with two single beds. Plenty of storage including large wardrobe under-bed drawers and bedside table with drawers.
Third Bedroom
Another spacious room with a bunk bed suitable for adults and children. Please note there is a weight restriction of 85kg for each bunk. Chest of drawers for storage.
Bathroom
Bath with shower over bath and shower screen. Large mirror and great lighting making it a great space to enjoy a relaxing bath after a long day
Garden
Lovely garden with patio at the back and newly installed decking on the side of the property. The cabin in the garden is not for use by guests
All of the house and garden is for guests' use excluding the cabin in the garden.

Lowther House Prestwich

Very easy check in with keys in a lock box, communication with the host was great. The house was spotless and well equipped with everything you could need - a real home from home! Excellent location for visiting family in Manchester, would definitely book again!

Exceptional!

This house was perfect. very clean and comfortable beds. The area is in a great location and feels very safe. cat is a brilliant host, she provided us with ice lollys and fans to keep us cool during the heat wave. would 100% recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Perfect!

We come to Manchester once a month for training, so we have had every type of accommodation. This is one of the best! Spotlessly clean, warm, the house is situated in a lovely area. Plenty of parking. You can get all your favourite deliveries and up the road is a lovely road filled with nice pubs and restaurant. As you drive past it, you see families out. 10/10

One of the best!

Cat's place was very cosy accommodation, perfect for our family for the Christmas break. They were very responsive to any issues and we thought it was good value for the price charged. The location was perfect for us with lots of family walks at Prestwich Clough and Heaton Park. A very enjoyable stay in North Manchester!

Catherine is a great landlord, very helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout. The house is lovely, well-maintained, and a really comfortable place to stay.
