A Vermont Sanctuary for the Design-Conscious & Remote Professional . Welcome to your Architecturally designed Scandinavian guest house, a true mountain-front sanctuary nestled beside a protected wildlife corridor on Hunger Mountain. This is where high-end design meets deep Vermont solitude, creating the ideal escape for couples, creatives, and discerning remote workers.Location & Connection: The Golden Triangle We are perfectly situated in  Vermont, offering easy access to the best of the state while maintaining complete privacy.Waterbury (6 mi / 10 min): Home to Vermont’s best dining (Hen of the Wood) and breweries (The Alchemist).Stowe (9 mi / 15 min): Quick access to the mountain for skiing, hiking, and the iconic Rec Path. Scandi-Modern Design & Wellness This is more than a cabin—it’s an intentional space designed for rejuvenation. The interior aesthetic is pure European modernism: clean lines, warm oak, and expansive windows that dissolve the boundary between the indoors and the wild outdoors.Light & Views: Large windows ensure you are closely connected to the natural setting, offering front-row seats to watch deer and wildlife pass by.Indulgent Comfort: Enjoy the luxury of radiant heated tile floors in the bathroom and the ambient warmth of a high-efficiency wood Pellet Stove overlooking the woodland setting.Ambiance: Integrated Sonos sound system to set the perfect mood for work or relaxation. The Remote Professional's Dream Setup Never compromise productivity for a retreat. We’ve prioritized a seamless work experience:Dedicated Workstation: Stand-up desk with a large 43” OLED/Smart Monitor (USB-C/HDMI cables provided—no need to travel with your own screen).Lightning-Fast Connectivity: Reliable 100+ MBPS Cable Wi-Fi for seamless video conferencing and streaming.Convenience: In-unit washer and dryer. Sleeping & Privacy The space is ideally suited for a couples’ retreat, a writer’s residency, or a small family of three.Primary Loft (King): An elevated, cozy nest with a King bed, accessed via a secure ship’s ladder.Ground Floor (Queen): A comfortable Queen fold-out couch with a premium pillow topper is available downstairs for flexible sleeping arrangements or if ladder access is not possible.Your Privacy: You have sole, private access to the entire self-contained guest house. The cabin is detached from the main house and sited to face the protected woods, maximizing your solitude. Loft Access: The King bed is in a loft accessed by a ladder. The ladder/balcony are not gated. This space is best for adults and children who are comfortable climbing.WINTER ONLY : Snow storms in Vermont winters can be unpredictable. Roads take time to clear. The road will be plowed, but timing can be variable . Access to the house is typically fine in a snowstorm. An AWD or 2WD with snow tires get the job done. Rental/City cars with bald/ basic radial tires will be challenged on any road in Vermont with snow. The house is on a single lane dirt road less than 1/4 mile long. Stay in the middle on the crown as you drive up/down. Do not pull off the side in the winter as you run the risk of getting stuck. If you need to park at bottom of driveway due to severe weather/this is an option. LMK
