Casa Liana Off-Grid Jungle Retreat with Pool -Steps to Beach
Enjoy this beautiful, secluded 3-bedroom jungle villa with a private pool, tucked into untouched nature — no neighbors, no vis-à-vis — yet just 5 minutes from the area's best beach and surf spot. Boho-ethnic interiors and walls of glass open onto the forest, offering total privacy for those craving real disconnection close to everything. Live the true jungle experience by the river, spotting wildlife, and unwinding with yoga surrounded by pure natural beauty.
🌵Layout This single-level villa spans 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, each bedroom en-suite for total privacy. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area flows seamlessly onto the terrace and private pool through full-length sliding glass walls. The private garden wraps around the property, buffering it from any outside view. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, and the villa is fully equipped with Starlink internet for reliable connectivity even in this off-grid jungle setting.
⛱️Interior The interior blends boho-ethnic warmth with clean, minimalist architecture. Natural textures - handwoven textiles, rattan pendant lighting, terracotta vessels, and linen upholstery - sit against polished concrete floors and soft neutral tones. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking, and the open living area is anchored by a plush sectional sofa facing the forest views. Each bedroom is a calm, airy retreat with a king bed, soft natural fabrics, and its own en-suite bathroom.
Guests have full private access to the entire villa — all 3 bedrooms, the pool, and the garden — with no shared spaces and no one else on the property. Just 5 minutes from the main beach, the villa sits at the perfect crossroads of total seclusion and easy access to everything nearby.
Despite the villa's deep-in-nature feel, you're never far from civilization — just far enough to feel like you have the jungle entirely to yourself.
🦥Getting Around & What's Nearby Casa Liana is just 5 minutes by car from Playa Avellanas, one of Guanacaste's most beautiful and consistent surf breaks — golden sand, mangrove-backed shoreline, and some of the best sunsets on this coast. It's a favorite for surfers of every level, from beginners catching their first wave to experienced riders drawn by the reliable swell.
Along the way, you'll pass La Esquina, the social and culinary heart of Avellanas at the main corner of town — home to a lively mix of restaurants and bars, plus Gelato Magico, a 100% organic, plant-based gelato shop worth the stop on its own.
Just 3 minutes from the villa, Il Rustico serves authentic Italian fare — wood-fired pizzas, homemade pastas, and fresh salads — from a family who brought their grandmother's recipes straight from Italy. It's the kind of low-key, unpretentious spot that captures the character of this coast.
For a beachfront classic, Lola's is a short drive away, with wooden tables set right in the sand, hammocks swaying between palms, and surfers riding the break just steps from your table — perfect for ceviche, poke, and a sunset cocktail.
Beyond dining, the area is made for slowing down: surf lessons and board rentals are easy to arrange right at the beach, horseback riding trails wind through the surrounding dry tropical forest, and yoga studios and wellness spots are scattered throughout the area for the mornings you'd rather stretch than surf.
