Villa Casa Nova - Gale Beach - Albuferia

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Villa Casa Nova. Our daughter and now son- in -law were having their wedding ceremony nearby. We have been to many villas in the area but we chose this villa because it had a stunning garden, large patio and terrace, very modern with 3 en- suites and was presented immaculately. It was our lovely oasis for the week. It was perfect in every way and the owners allowed us to have a small gathering just the 10 of us - all family, for a banquet after the wedding ceremony. Our daughter had arranged caterers and they said it was one of the best kitchens they had worked in. Large American fridge/:freezer with ice dispenser and plenty of work surfaces, plus the dining table is off the kitchen so they were able to make good use of this area too.
All the family remarked how lovely the villa was and the location was perfect. There was only 1 other villa next to it, but it was still so very private, we didn’t even notice it there as the garden and pool area are totally on the other side.
We met up with the rest of the family a few times over the week as they were staying close by and there were plenty of restaurants nearby to accommodate us. We went to Gale beach for drinks and snacks the night before the ceremony and my husband and I walked to the beach after the ceremony to give the happy couple some time on their own. We took the back side roads and it was a lovely (approx 25 minutes walk). Only 5 mins by car though.
The owners were fantastic with communication and Caroline responded immediately to any questions we had. (Mainly questions regarding the ceremony, as the villa had a full book of instructions and information regarding the actual facilities).
The fabulous pool area, the secret top drinks area, the beautiful terrace with amazing countryside views all made for a wonderful stay.
We really didn’t want to leave. My husband and I would have quite happily retired there for the rest of our lives! It really did feel like a magical place.

Thank you to Caroline for making it so easy for us and allowing the small function at the Villa. This was the perfect place and with the pool and patio lights together with the lights we had put on the trees, made the place even more magical. It’s
an ideal place for a small catered event like ours

Hopefully we will be back soon.🤞

Our wonderful oasis for the week.

Wonderful property, everything is catered for. Modern & very secure. Quiet spot adjacent to farmland but easily accessible.  Great location, good restaurants nearby. Sao Domingo’s, Jompra & Olive recommended. Mr Singhs for a curry, good value. Car is needed. Although large Galé beach nearby we regularly visited two lovely coves Costelo & Evristo. Both have good dining/toilet facilities and sun bed hire. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great location with great restaurants

The owner and house manager was very responsive to any questions we had. The house is very well equipped. The property is wonderful and is in a great location, close to beaches and great for walking around. Grocery stores are very close by. Albufeira is only a 15 minute drive, Loule/Faro is 30 minutes, very convenient. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance. Overall just a great place to stay.
