Directly across from one of Florida's most beloved hidden beaches — Sunset Beach — with free private parking that most visitors can only dream of. Step out your door, cross a quiet street, and you're barefoot in the Gulf in under five minutes. Cool off in the newly rebuilt pool with Gulf views, or end every evening on the balcony watching the sky turn pink and gold over the water. This is the Gulf Coast romance people write songs about. 🌅
🌊 The Space
Funshine Sunset Beach has a personality all its own — charming, cozy, and filled with original art from local Tampa Bay artists that makes it feel genuinely special rather than generic. This is the kind of place that makes you slow down, pour a cocktail, and actually relax. 🍸
The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with soft coastal touches that guests consistently love. The living space includes a memory-foam Murphy bed that folds away during the day, keeping the layout open and airy. The fully stocked kitchen makes quiet dinners in easy, and the beach chairs, cooler, and towels are all included so you can head straight to the sand. Board games and a cocktail shaker are included too — because the best vacation evenings don't always happen on the beach. 😄
🌅 The Balcony & Community Vibe
Step outside to the shared balcony walkway and you'll immediately understand what makes this building special. Neighbors gather here in the evenings to watch the sunset together, chat, and enjoy that warm, unhurried Sunset Beach energy. It's the kind of community feel you don't expect from a vacation rental — and can't help but love. The Gulf views from the balcony are absolutely stunning.
📍 The Location
Here's what makes Sunset Beach genuinely special: there is very limited public parking here. The locals love it because it stays beautifully uncrowded — and staying at Funshine Sunset Beach means you have free private parking and effortless access to one of Florida's best-kept secrets. Forget your sunscreen? No problem — you're close enough to run back and grab it. 😄
Caddy's and Ka'Tiki are just a short walk away for beachside drinks and bites. And as 20-year Tampa Bay locals, we have strong opinions about all the best spots to eat, drink, and explore in the area. Our digital guidebook is packed with honest, personal recommendations you won't find on any generic travel site.

Funshine Sunset Beach - Steps from the beach!!

Great communication, wonderful accommodations and perfect location!

Funtastic

My friend and I stumbled upon the listing for Funshine after our original accommodations were canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, and we could not have been more pleased. Funshine had everything we needed and more. Tropical Storm Debby tried to be a downer for our trip, but actually provided more unique shells and sights for our adventure. Nancy's communication and hospitality was second to none, and we will definitely be interested in booking again in the future.

Back to School Shell-a-bration

Everything we really needed was within walking distance. The condo was so cute! The bed comfy. Ka Tiki and Caddy’s fun.
