Garland House Trinity Newfoundland~ Luxury Vacation Rental

What a way to start our trip to Newfoundland than to stay at the wonderful Garland House in Trinity! This place is so inviting, so peaceful, a place that you can relax and reboot the system. Great accommodations with fantastic views! It was the perfect location in town…right above Aunt Sarah’s Chocolate Shop. It’s a wonderful place to bring family or just good friends. We will be back!

Amazing Trip!

Garland House isn't just a place to sleep—it's part of the Trinity experience. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into Newfoundland's history while still enjoying every modern comfort you could want. The blend of the beautifully preserved heritage home with the bright, spacious new addition is done so thoughtfully that you get the best of both worlds.

We especially loved starting each morning with coffee overlooking the harbour, watching the boats come and go and simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The location couldn't have been better. We walked to restaurants, explored the town's historic streets, visited the nearby sites, and, of course, couldn't resist stopping into Aunt Sarah's Chocolates more than once!

The house was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was so well equipped that it made cooking together a pleasure. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather, but also enough quiet spaces to relax with a book or simply enjoy the view.

Trinity is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave, and Garland House is a big part of why. If you're looking for a home that lets you experience Newfoundland's charm, history, and hospitality all at once, this is it. We already booked for next year and will recommend it to family and friends.

A Place That Becomes Part of Your Trip

We loved our stay! Excellent location, central to all activities, restaurants and historic sites. The Great room is where the family enjoyed family gatherings. Beautiful view of the Bay, amazing sunsets and lobster fisherman pulling in their traps. A high end kitchen with quality appliances and eveything is very clean. Also a TV room for those who want to sneak away and another sitting room. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Excellent restaurant across the road with Aunt Sarah’s Chocolates next door! Will be back!

Will be Back

Very wonderful place. The location was wonderful and historical feel of old portion of house was very special. Sarah did a friendly and informative welcome and tour and was very helpful when we needed it. The new space was great for us to get to know each other and break bread.

Great Trip

Absolutely beautiful property and well maintained. Great proximity to restaurant and local chocolate shop (connected to it so you wake up to the smell of fresh baked waffle cones).
