The space
Our cabin was newly built in 2019. The design pulls in the great outdoors with knotted pine walls and a deck and hot tub that overlook the neighboring forest to give you a feeling of isolation and levity. Our intent is to blend the coziness and function of a mountain retreat with the elegance of the midcentury era to create the perfect getaway for YOU!

<ul><li><ul><li>Max guest count is 4 -No unregistered guests overnight or for a visit without written approval. We maintain the right to charge an additional $100 fee for each un-authorized guest.</li><li>No more than 2 cars and please carpool where possible.</li></ul></li><li>Please remove shoes in the house and pickup dog waste. - We maintain the right to charge additional cleaning fee for any significant stains outside of normal wear and tear.</li><li>No firearms allowed on premises.</li><li>The house is on a septic system so please only flush toilet paper.</li><li>No Smoking including cigarettes, cigars, vape pens, marijuana, hookah, etc in the cabin. Do not leave cigarette buds outside. Please bag and dispose in outside trash.</li><li>No disorderly conduct. Complaints will result in your stay ending prematurely without refunds.</li></ul>

Treehouse

Stop looking and book this Airbnb now! Seriously it was one of my top favorite experiences with Airbnb. Nicole has thought of everything and curated the perfect stay. We created some amazing memories here and I know that you will do the same. One thing I have never seen another Airbnb do was having the perfect playlist on standby, it was my favorite, and definitely set the tone for our whole stay.

I don’t even know what to say except this was the best find ever. I live in cle elum and sometimes just want to get away for a few days. My standards are pretty high so I scroll through and reject a lot before I try a new place. This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I have absolutely no suggestions or recommendations. I just loved loved love it. I’ll take the beauty and quiet of plain over the hustle and bustle of downtown leavenworth anytime! I went on a trail ride with mountain springs lodge. That was special. But let me just say ~ I booked another stay here within 10 minutes of checking in. If that tells you anything. Thank you so much to nicole and her husband for styling such a great great getaway for us to enjoy. 🍁 I’ll be back. Lots. Don’t you worry!!

Did not Disappoint!

Look no further! If you want to stay near Leavenworth, this is the place for you. I slept soooo good in the bed downstairs, I even took a picture of the mattress brand for my future mattress purchase. I felt like Nicole thought of every single thing, from the small personal touches to the comfortability of the cabin. It is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I also loved the built in trails in the community although we didn’t get to do all of them. If I ever visit Leavenworth again, I will definitely be staying at gatherindie. I was so sad to leave because it truly was so perfect. The only thing is that it might not be entirely kid friendly. We traveled with our 2 year old son and we just didn’t feel comfortable letting him go up and down the stairs by himself since they are very narrow. Other than that though, everything else was really nice. Thank you Nicole for being the best host! I can’t wait to visit Washington again 😍

gatHER indie treehouse is one of the most hygge airbnb’s we’ve stayed at — outside of Denmark! Nikki is kind, helpful, and quick to respond. This home is beautiful, a perfect, relaxing escape. You can tell that a lot of thought and intention was put into every design detail. The natural light, patio with lights, Pendleton quilts, record player with vinyl selections, a fellow stagg kettle for pour over coffee, eucalyptus hanging in the shower, the cabin playlist, games, book selection, furniture, art pieces, I could go on and on. The location is perfect for exploring Leavenworth and the surrounding area. It was hot when we visited — but the basement kept cool in the afternoons and for sleeping at night. My husband appreciated the office space for working remote. Our kids ages 5, 3, and 1 enjoyed it as well - declaring it one of their favorite Airbnb’s yet. Things like the hot sauce left as a welcome gift and the spare computer monitor in the office are all extra touches that went above and beyond. Thank you Nikki for sharing this space — It is a dream, and we can’t wait to return in winter sometime to sled and cross country ski!

Hygge

This cabin is the definition of hygge. So warm and inviting, cozy, everything is so thoughtfully designed, from the lighting fixtures, to the record player, to the le labo soap. This place was stunning. It really created an environment that helped my husband and me unplug from our devices and enjoy the weekend. The ukelele was super fun too, we jammed out and ended up writing a song hahaha.

Bathroom was spacious, the water pressure was good.
Very easy to adjust heat in cabin.
Kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pants/everything you'd need. We cooked all of our meals over 3 days.
Bed was comfy

Note that the staircase is very very vertical, and may not be good for young kids or elderly who might have trouble going up and down a very steep spirally staircase. Not an issue otherwise!

My only regret is not having more time to stay here longer. 10/10 would recommend this place! My pup also loved it and enjoyed all the toys and snacks that were provided for her :)
