West Glacier Bear Cabin In Glacier National Park

I had reserved this cabin last year and had an idea of what to expect. We were surprised to find the owners had just updated all major appliances in the kitchen, installed a King bed, and had added some e-bikes to make the stay more fun.
The weather in May can vary and we had hoped for 60s - 70s but it was in the 50s. So going on the lake was not going to happen. But the e bikes turned out to be the fun surprise and there are wonderful bike trails in Glacier National Park. We had a blast riding around. The cabin is tucked in behind the main area of Apgar Village and was very quiet and peaceful. McDonald Creek is 100 feet away. This is definitely a place to stay and use as your base camp. We will be back.
