For larger families, groups of friends, special celebrations, or intimate weddings, Villa Karga and Villa Nova can be rented together as one exclusive private estate.
Combined, the two villas offer six double bedrooms, two private swimming pools, a fully equipped gym, and a spacious hammam, comfortably accommodating 12–14 guests. This unique setup provides the perfect balance between shared experiences and personal privacy.
Although connected as one property, the villas remain completely independent, each with its own private entrance, gated parking area, garden, and pool. The entire estate is enclosed by traditional stone walls, creating a secure and secluded environment. A connecting door between the gardens can be unlocked when both villas are rented by the same group, allowing guests to move freely between the two properties.
Travelling as a group is about creating memorable moments together while still having the freedom to enjoy your own space. Villa was fabulous, check in very smooth and all needs catered for by either host or owner. Nothing was too much trouble.
Close to town so no need to use a car to go out at night.
Great views of the snow capped mountains and base gives great opportunity for local and more adventurous walking.
All round great holiday.

Stay at Villa Nova

Our large family booked a week in both Villa Nova and Villa Karga to celebrate several birthdays.  It was wonderful, so relaxing, with everything you needed to be self sufficient and in a glorious climate VERY close to the beach and village of Almyrida.  It was great to have such excellent communication with the owners before the trip: being a nervous parent of a daughter with a severe nut allergy, I was really relieved to be able to have groceries at the villa on our arrival  that I knew would be safe for my daughter to eat.  The owners even checked out the local restaurants for us so we knew which ones would be able to easily accommodate us!  Throughout our time there it was also great to know that we had a local contact in case we needed anything - Roula was really friendly and helpful.  Everything is finished to a high standard and we loved the furniture - the interior (and exterior!) design is just fabulous.  We went in late May and paid for the pools to be heated - a smart move which meant all of us used both pools a number of times every day and the kids loved it.  I was sad to leave and will definitely be back at some point in the future.

Can I just say how much we all loved our holidays at Villa Karga and Nova. The design of the villas is stunning, the quality of the interior is extremely high, the views are amazing, and every small detail is well thought through. Thank you again for allowing us to stay late on the Saturday. It gave us another day of holiday, meaning that we could spend Jack’s 9th birthday at the beach rather than hanging around with suitcases, etc, and meant that we were refreshed for our journey home. We were so pleased with the villas and are very happy to recommend them. And we will certainly return should we come back to Crete.

Loved our holidays

Visited Almyrida in the beginning of June, 8 adults and two children (6 and 10 years). Have been travelling a lot around the world and must say that Villa Karga and Villa Nova is one of my best luxury experiences. Perfect location with wonderful view, only 5 min walking distance to the local restaurants beautiful located by the sea. If you like to play tennis, it took only 12 minutes by walking to the courts. Would highly recommend to book the chef, he cooked us a four course seafood menu with Greek wines that was fantastic. The chef and his host really made or last evening together. We also ordered pizza for lunch a couple of days, took 15-20 min and they delivered at the house, perfect for lunch at a reasonable price. There are many grocery stores and also a local butcher five minutes from the Villas, easy to cook your own food in a well equipped kitchen. I would highly recommend GM Villas for their top notch service and their nice concierge Natasa that was very helpful.

A peaceful and perfect place to relax and stress down, highly recommended!

We have stayed in many amazing villas and hotels around the world and this has to be the best by far. We stayed for a week over the May half term as a family with 2 adults and 3 children (aged, 11, 9 and 5). Each child had their own room with ensuite. The master bedroom was spectacular with the bathroom upstairs in a mezzanine level (don’t worry the wc is on the same level as the bed so no stumbling over in the middle of the night if needed!) The house is air conditioned throughout, has a huge lounge with amazing high ceilings and a kitchen with everything you would need – including ice and filtered water from the fridge, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher, wine cooler and so much more. There is a BBQ area, fully stocked gym, utility room with washer dryer, steam room and amazing pool – which can be heated. We recommend heating the pool even when the weather is hot since it made such a difference being able to relax in there without it being too cold. It meant we really used the pool (and there are a range of inflatables as well for the kids – and adults : )
Next door is a 2 bedroom villa called Villa Nova with a lovely small glass sided pool with waterfall – my brother, wife and son stayed there making this the absolute perfect holiday home. The houses are walking distance from the beach, shops and sea-side restaurants. There was a vast choice and we tried out so many of the restaurants. You can get tours from the beach front and we went on a superb boat trip with George from Dream Adventire Trips which was superb. Almyrida is a lovely location and I would thoroughly recommend it. Thanks to the owners for making the villa so welcoming, with a lovely welcome basket as well as shopping for us with some essentials since we landed late at night.
