Take a 360 Tour of the property <a href="https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=QSrrgnNcHcD">here!</a>
This isn't just a vacation rental. It's your own private mountain compound in Durango where epic memory creations actually happen.
Picture 84 acres of pure Durango wilderness. You're surrounded by towering pines, golden aspens, and rocky mountain bluffs. Elk and deer wander down to the pond just a few hundred yards from your door. Sometimes you'll spot black bears and turkeys too. This is the kind of place where everyone puts their phones down and just watches nature do its thing.
Ten bedrooms mean you can bring everyone. The whole extended family. Your entire leadership team. All 38 people can sleep comfortably in this 12,300 square foot estate, and with 13 bathrooms, there's never a wait.
The theater room is what seals the deal for most guests. Fifteen reclining chairs facing a massive screen. After that, there's billiards, shuffleboard, and a poker table for the late night crowd. This is where memories get made after the sun goes down.
The heated pool is big enough for actual games. We're talking volleyball nets and basketball hoops. When you're done, slip into the in ground hot tub and watch the sunset paint the mountains pink and orange.
Where You Are
Majestic Manor sits on 84 private acres along Florida Road in Durango, Colorado. Close enough for everything; far enough for none of it to find you.
Lemon Reservoir: 10 minutes Vallecito Lake: 15 minutes Downtown Durango: 25 minutes Durango La Plata County Airport (DRO): 25 minutes Bayfield: 30 minutes Durango Hot Springs: 35 minutes Purgatory Resort: 60 minutes Mesa Verde National Park: 1 hour 15 minutes Silverton (by car): 1 hour 45 minutes
What to Do While You're Here
Two lakes sit practically at your doorstep. Lemon Reservoir is ten minutes away for quiet trout fishing, and Vallecito Lake adds boating, kayaking, and paddleboard rentals just past it.
In Durango, raft the Animas River whitewater right through downtown, then soak it off at Durango Hot Springs north of town. Book the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, a coal fired steam train climbing through the San Juan Mountains to the historic mining town of Silverton. It sells out; reserve early.
Saddle up for guided horseback rides through national forest terrain. Chase waterfalls at Cascade Falls near Purgatory or along the Vallecito Creek Trail into the Weminuche Wilderness. At Purgatory Resort, ride the Inferno Mountain Coaster down the mountainside, take a scenic lift, or hit the ziplines. Hikers and mountain bikers have hundreds of miles of San Juan National Forest trails to burn through.
Got a full day? Mesa Verde National Park and its ancestral cliff dwellings are worth the drive west.
Whatever brings you here, you'll leave different. That's what happens when you go beyond ordinary.

Majestic Manor Estate Durango

The home was perfect for our family vacation, with the commercial kitchen and dining hall, pool, spa, theater, game room, bar and on-property trails, there were plenty of opportunities for the whole family to enjoy activities together, yet plenty of room for each of the families to have their own on suite and find a quiet out of the way space to just read a book while enjoying the views. It is an easy drive from the estate to Vallecito Lake or into Durango and on up to Silverton.

Vacation

My new wife and I had our family stay here for our small 23 guest wedding weekend. It was the perfect setting to have everyone stay at the property and to have the wedding also on the property. The host was incredible and very helpful with any and all questions. The majestic manor is amazing and the pics do not do this place justice. Simply stunning. Thanks so so much for an amazing wedding weekend we will cherish forever. If you need a place for an event, highly recommend the Majestic Manor Estate.

The perfect wedding setting

This property is beautifully designed and mountain views from every room. The location is perfect - just a short drive to town for easy access to restaurants, shops and the train. The house is a true sanctuary, with two kitchens, one being a commercial kitchen that made cooking a joy, luxurious beds in all the rooms for ultimate relaxation. We loved the game/theater room, perfect for entertainment when we weren't exploring. Looking forward to returning!

Majestic Manor says it all.

Beautiful home that accommodated a large multigenerational family. Plenty of activities in the area, as well as in the home. Large kitchen to cook our meals and a chef nearby who came in to cook one amazing meal for all 33 of us. Well maintained pool and spa and shooting areas for the fun lovers in our group. The game area downstairs had fun for all ages. Highly recommend!

Family Reunion

We had the best stay with our Work Family Retreat. Our families absolutely loved the property and all it offers. Hours of fun for the youth and a lot of soace and relaxation for adults. We look forward to returning again. So beautiful and accommodations met all our needs for our group.
