Llangollen Railway & Riverside Retreat

One of the best apartments we have stayed in. We loved it! Spacious and beautifully decorated, lovely kitchen. Garden was an amazing bonus with plenty of steam trains at the weekends but lovely, quiet and private. We will definitely return to this AirB&B!

A fantastic place to stay

Perfect location for beautiful walks (we walked along the canal to the Aqueduct) & access to town. We loved the sound of the river & seeing the steam train. Food at The Corn Mill is fantastic & Finley’s is lovely for coffee, lunch or light bites. Lovely accommodation - comfy, cosy & clean with everything we needed for our stay. I’d messaged Tanya for recommendations for restaurants to celebrate my Partner’s birthday. She responded promptly & sent lots of detailed recommendations, not only for eating out, but also for things to do, places to visit & interesting walks (including detailed directions) and local supermarkets/delis, etc. Tanya was there to greet us when we arrived - as well as a birthday card, bottle of bubbles & cake. Such a kind & thoughtful gesture.
I highly recommend this accommodation & would definitely like to book a return visit to explore the area further. Thank you so much to Grant & Tanya for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.

Lovely accommodation - comfy, cosy & clean with everything we needed for our stay.

A delightful little hideaway and so convenient for walking from. We were only there for 2 nights but didn't need to use the car to get around. It's an area we're very familiar with but always love the beauty and find somewhere different to explore every time. The apartment is clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Thanks to Grant and Tanya for making it available.
