Hill Crest is a traditional stone-built cottage superbly located in a prime elevated site with spectacular panoramic views overlooking Cullen Bay in the Royal Burgh of Cullen. &nbsp;A charming and historic fishing village on the Moray Firth in Scotland, Cullen is beautifully positioned against the backdrop of 19th century railway viaducts. &nbsp;The two-story cottage sleeps 6 adults and makes for a fabulous dwelling for both couples and families looking to explore the rugged Moray Firth. &nbsp; 
Hill Crest is a spacious and comfortable 4-bedroom cottage with all the modern conveniences as well as having the benefits of a lovely private and enclosed patio garden with large decked area overlooking the bay. &nbsp;&nbsp; 
The ground floor accommodation comprises a beautifully decorated lounge complete with feature fireplace and large screen TV for those cozy nights inside. &nbsp;There is a double bedroom that hosts a king size bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. &nbsp;The dining room is a bright and spacious area thanks to the dual aspect windows allowing sweeping views across Cullen Bay to the hills of Caithness and Sutherland. &nbsp;Dolphins can often be spotted from this room breaching the waves! &nbsp;There is a large dining table which comfortably sits 6 people and a well-appointed sideboard to assist with hosting family gatherings and meals. &nbsp; 
The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for creating delicious home cooked meals. &nbsp;Appliances include oven, grill, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and Bosch Tassimo coffee maker. &nbsp;All plates, pans, dishes and cutlery are provided. &nbsp;There is a free-standing island table and stools which is a great spot for your morning coffee! &nbsp;A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided in the laundry room. &nbsp; 
Upstairs the master king bedroom hosts stunning views across the bay thanks to the dual aspect windows. &nbsp;Quality linens are provided as standard and there is ample storage for all your holiday essentials. &nbsp;Listen to the calming sound of waves crashing below as you relax for a peaceful night’s sleep under the comfort of a luxurious duck-down duvet. &nbsp; 
Two further single bedrooms are situated upstairs, both charmingly tucked away beneath sloping ceilings and offering tranquil views. &nbsp;A travel cot is also provided for our guests who have wee ones.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
Completing the upstairs accommodation is the family bathroom which comprises a lovely bath, shower and heated towel rail which is great for warming up those fluffy towels after a day of sight-seeing! &nbsp; 
Outside - Hill Crest has a fabulous cliff top location with a sheltered private patio garden in the back complete with picnic table. &nbsp;The paths are gravelled and lead across the garden to our decked area which has a lovely, covered timber gazebo with a table and bench seating. &nbsp;There are also 4 timber deck chairs ideal for sunbathing and dolphin watching in Cullen Bay. &nbsp;Our outside area is a truly special place and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do! &nbsp; 
Parking is available at the front of the cottage in this safe and quiet cul-de-sac. &nbsp;There should be sufficient space for 2 vehicles. &nbsp;

Hill Crest - Clifftop Escape with Sea View

This is my second stay at Hill Crest with my 2 sisters. We look forward all year to returning, and it never disappoints. From the minute you open the door the warmth and welcome greets you. Euan has thought of everything to enable guest to make their stay comfortable and stress free. His attention to detail and style only reflect the love and pride he has, not only for Hill Crest, but Cullen. We were able to enjoy the views and walks better this time, as the weather was kind. It was lovely at night sitting out watching the sun going down. We hope to return again next year all being well. Thank you Euan for allowing us to experience the magic of Hill Crest.

The most perfect week in the most perfect location and the most perfect holiday home. You never tire of the views and the home from home comfort is effortless. We walked for miles, Mollie our fabulous golden retriever swam & walked for miles ( i think coming home was a rest for her). Until next time Hill Crest, we thank you for a stress free holiday.

We stayed at Hill Crest in Cullen and can truly say it was one of the most memorable and relaxing vacations we’ve had. The house is beautiful. It’s spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and full of character. The views over the bay are absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Our host, Euan, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. His warmth and local recommendations added so much to our stay, from coastal walks to hidden gems around the area.

Cullen itself is a charming village with friendly locals, delicious food (don’t miss Cullen skink!), and one of the most scenic stretches of coastline.

If you’re thinking about visiting the Moray coast, don’t hesitate. Hill Crest is the perfect place to stay. We can’t wait to come back.

Five-Star Stay, Breathtaking Views

A fantastic week at Hill Crest with extended family - 3 generations and a dog. The house is immaculate, luxurious and has a view that's instantly relaxing every time you see it.
There are so many lovely walks, quality food and sports options in Cullen and the surrounding areas, and spotting the dolphins visit the bay is always a beautiful sight.
We would definitely recommend staying at Hill Crest - this was our 6th visit over the past 10 years and it was lovely to be back adding to special memories.
