A lovely 2 Bedroom apartment on the 5th floor with lifts, the apartment is on one level so quite accessible. There is a sea view where you can see the boats come in and out of Southampton from the balcony. 
One bedroom is double with ensuite and the other is a twin room. There is a family bathroom in the hall. Beds are made for arrival and towels and a hair dryer are provided. 
The lounge has lovely views with the floor to ceiling windows and leads onto a fully equipped kitchen, which has a washer/ dryer, air fryer, cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Everything you would need to feel at home.  Hythe is a lovely coastal Village with small shops and a supermarket within walking distance.


There is a designated parking space for the property number 19 next to the bike shed at the front of the building. The Hythe Village, the Ferry to Southampton and the buses are all within walking distance.

The flat has everything you could possibly need for a stay. The views from the balcony over Southampton Water are amazing. Tina was so helpful and extremely efficient in dealing with our booking and nothing was too much trouble for her. Just wish every service could be this efficient!

Lovely stay

We had a fantastic stay at The Lantern. The apartment was spotless, very comfortable, and exactly as described. Everything was well prepared and made settling in very easy.

Check-in was smooth, and Tina was great with communication — clear, helpful, and responsive throughout. The location is quiet and convenient, with easy parking.

We also really appreciated the welcome package, which was a thoughtful touch.

Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
