Our most cozy room of all offers the most spirited historic hotel experience. The sage colored floral wallpaper has a soothing, tranquil, quality that lends itself to peace, relaxation, and feeling of connectedness to the Earth. Gaze out the window of this quaint central room and you may spot our local elk herd snacking on our newly planted Irish Yew trees.

#3 Glacier Lake Trail Shared Bath- Adults Only

The room was small and cozy, but very comfortable. I really appreciated the AC and being able to come back to a clean cool room after a day of sweaty hiking. The shared bathroom worked out just fine, and it was a huge bonus to have space in the fridge and freezer to get our cooler items prepped for the next day. The hotel met all our functional needs, as well as being absolutely adorable and a place I looked forward to returning to each evening. A definite must stay!

Wonderful stay!

My girlfriend and I wanted to go on a little weekend getaway and this was the perfect spot! The team was incredibly helpful and the whole process of checking in was really easy. The EV charger was a great plus.

Great getaway!

I happened to see a poster for the hotel a couple of weeks back in the local coffee shop. I took a photo of it thinking that it might be a fun place to stay sometime. I was up skiing White Pass on Monday, the snow started coming down so I decided to find a place to stay and ski Tuesday. I remembered the photo I had taken and made a call. I spoke with Alyssa and was able to book a room for the night. I arrived at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The historic building from the early 1900’s keeps that old time feel, like stepping back in time. The woodstove and piano in the living room and sitting library give you options to relax in the evening, and the rooms are cozy with comfortable beds and nice linens. I really enjoyed the experience staying at this historic hotel.

Historic Packwood Hotel is a gem!

This hotel has been beautifully restored and enhanced with lovely bathrooms, air conditioning and a kitchen where Alyssa has provided coffee, tea, cold water and a fridge where you can store your own snacks and drinks. The porch is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a snack from the coffee shop right across the street. We have been coming here for decades and when it was sold were fearful of its demise. It has been restored beyond our dreams and we look forward to returning to enjoy its cozy comfort!
And the location can’t be beat with Mt Rainier National Park and White Pass so close by.

We hade a great stay. Even though we had share bathroom it was perfect. I never notices that we had to share. Everything was so clean and well maintened. I experienced the cleanest hotel on my roadtrip. And everything was so well done.. We had space in the fridge, very tasty coffee en cold water in the fridge. In the smallest things Alyssa had thinking it over. And Packwood is the best plsce to go to Mount Rainier by Route 123. And also the brewery makes it cosy in the evening. I recommend this hotel to everybody. Realy the best we visit!!!
