This beautiful vacation destination is located on the Baja peninsula about 720 miles south of the California border. To the east lies the Sea of Cortez and to the west is the Sierra de los Gigantes mountain range. With beautiful sunrises over the water and sunsets over the mountains, this ‘Pueblo Magico’ is the perfect setting for your next vacation.

Our Cabañas face an inside courtyard area with a pool, that has plenty of palm trees for shade and areas of sunshine as well. The Casitas face a second inside courtyard area with another pool, also with a good balance of areas of shade and sun. Both pool areas have BBQ’s available for your use.

Coco Cabañas & Casitas Vacation Rentals

My husband and I went to Loreto for almost 2 weeks and stayed at Casa Cabañas. It was the perfect place for us- quiet and clean, air-conditioned, staff were super friendly, and just the relaxing place we had hoped for located in a safe and family-oriented neighborhood. We were close enough to walk everywhere we needed to go and were delighted to receive recommendations from Eva and Stephen on which captain to take for a trip to Isla Coronado and to offer guidance on everything from where to find the best fish tacos to how to cook our own chocolate clams. If you go, don't miss out on Roberto's homemade muffins (they're the best) and I highly recommend Francisco Mayoral as a guide on the water. This is a wonderful place and we hope to return.

The perfect place for us

"We stayed at Coco Cabana (#4) for a week, and there are no complaints! It was the perfect place to stay, clean, quiet and relaxing! The cabana is bigger than it looks in the photos, with a king bed, kitchen, and bathroom- everything you need! It’s only a short easy walk to the beach, malecon and town, so really the perfect location! The staff and owner, Stephen are all wonderful and we will definitely be back!"

Loved it!

Just back from our first trip to the cabanas and Loreto. Amazing time! Our casita had everything we needed. The pool was refreshing and in the heat (90's), essential. Stephen is the consummate host; always at the ready with answers and recommendations. He set us up with a great fishing guide, and we had the time of our lives going after dorado, grouper, snapper, tuna and more! The water is clear. We walked daily for shopping and food, and felt completely safe. Locals were friendly and helpful. Planning our next trip, and soon! Adios!

My new home away from home....

I went to Loreto with a friend in May and we stayed at Coco Cabanas and had a blast.  We went fishing, kayaking, diving, and boating all of it was set up through Stephen at the hotel who was a great host.  There is plenty of awesome food and activity options just steps away from the Casita.  Will definitely be heading back to Loreto and staying at Coco Cabanas in the near future.  Highly recommended.

Great stay in Loreto.

Coco Cabanas and Casitas keeps us coming back to beautiful Loreto! Owner Stephen and his friendly manager Ava always deliver clean and air conditioned rooms. They provide top notch recommendations for local food and activities. The boat captains they connected us with made sure we always left with fish. The first fish I ever caught was a yellowtail- now I'm addicted to the sport! I love how I can get my fish filleted and grill it up at the same place, on the same day! I loved seeing the majestic dolphins at sunrise, the lazy seals sun bathing, and the rays jumping out of the water! Knowing that I can come back to a safe and comfortable casita makes my vacation that much more relaxing. Stephen is professional, personable, and took the time to connect with us and make sure our needs were met. Can't wait for our next stay!
