Welcome to The Salty Whale, a fun 3-bedroom, two-story beach retreat in Galveston’s Pirates Beach community. Pack your flip-flops, breathe in the salty air, and settle into easy coastal living with comfy gathering spaces, beachy charm, and a great location near the sand, surf, and island fun. Perfect for families, couples, or small groups ready to whale-y relax.

Welcome to The Salty Whale, a cute and beachy Pirates Beach getaway with a modern coastal feel, plenty of space to spread out, and a fun, family-friendly personality throughout. This two-story home is a great fit for families, couples, and relaxed beach weekends, with the beach just a short drive or golf cart ride away.

The main level makes the home especially comfortable and convenient, with the primary living areas, two king bedrooms, and a full bathroom all downstairs. Gather in the living room after a day in the sun, enjoy meals together around the 6-person dining table, or pull up a seat at the kitchen bar with space for 4 more. The kitchen includes a new induction stove, new refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker, making it easy to handle anything from quick beach snacks to a full family meal.

Upstairs, you’ll find a playful additional sleeping space with a queen-over-queen bunk, a daybed, and a full bathroom with a standing shower. It’s a great setup for kids, teens, or extra guests who want their own space. Please note that the upstairs bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase, and the home does not have an elevator.

One of the best parts of The Salty Whale is the outdoor space. With three decks, an outdoor shower, and parking for up to 4 vehicles, the home is set up for easy coastal living. Rinse off after the beach, relax outside in the salty air, or enjoy a quiet morning coffee before heading out for the day.

Inside, the home has a cheerful modern coastal style with a whole mural that adds a fun and memorable touch. It feels relaxed, bright, and welcoming — the kind of place where you can kick off your flip-flops, settle in, and enjoy island time.

Whether you’re planning a family beach trip, a couples’ getaway, or a weekend escape in Pirates Beach, The Salty Whale is a comfortable and charming home base for your Galveston stay.
